We have been dining at Dicky's for several years now. Stein owners. We stopped going as frequently a little over a year ago due to the decline in quality and reckless care by the manager. The staff has always been amazing and we have never had issues with any of the servers or bartenders. Actually, they are great servers and we really enjoy them! The previous management was not attentive to details and seemed more interested in taking shots on the clock than cleaning anything or doing other productive work. The lack of caring started to show and then we witnessed the manager take three shots over a 1.5 hour period behind the bar while she was working and knew that was not a good sign, we chose to stay away. We have recently started going back more regularly under the new ownership and every time we attend something new and positive is in place. They are making positive changes that is going to have impact for a long time to come and we couldn't be happier about it. Are prices going up, yes and menu items have changed. Here's the thing, what they were doing and the pricing they were at was not sustainable in this market. They are choosing to pay their staff better wages in return. I can 100% get on board with that becasue I want to see staff well taken care of and appreciated for showing up and working. We are excited to connect with our neighborhood friends more and have a great meal and drinks. The tenderloin is fantastic and the Salmon salad is delicious if you want a lighter option. There is something for everyone! They are in a transition period still, and new staff are being trained which may require a little patience but worth the wait. I'm so happy to have Dicky's back. Do yourself a favor and give them another chance or go check them out for the first time if you have never been there! Happy people, good food, good drinks and now...Karaoke...

With so many fast food places around, we chose Dicky's because we used to go there a lot and were happy to see it's still open. It was clean (although they could clean the glass on the front doors). It was great to have different sports on tv and nothing was blaring too loudly. No problems with our server. She did her job well. The food quality isn't really something to make me come back. BBQ is supposed to be their specialty, so I got a half chicken that is advertised as dry rubbed and smoked for hours. And . . . it definitely did not taste like either of those things. It was essentially flavorless and dry. Thankfully, they have BBQ sauces at the table. To be honest. The week before we got Andy's Knockout Chicken (the fundraiser chicken that you'll see popping up on corners & parking lots), and Andy's was WAAAAY better than Dicky's. Way better! Dicky's ran out of bone in wings so one of our party got boneless. You can't really eff that up, it's fried chicken. But, it was blah fried chicken. Their fries are good. Didn't really taste fresh cut (not that they advertise that) but they didn't taste like old, frozen french fries. Honestly, nothing sucked about this visit, but the food is just boring and for emphasizing BBQ, it was...

Came here for lunch today. Our waitress today was the dark haired woman with glasses, had her hair in a bun. Terrible to us. She was rude. Seemed inconvenienced when we asked for anything. She had 4 other tables and seemed to give them good service just fine, barely checked on our table, probably only 3 times in all. When we asked for our checks and boxes, she made a face and walked away and threw menus down and whoever else was there asked if she was mad and our waitress said “I’m not mad at you”, which clearly makes it seem it was US she was mad at. For what, have no idea. We were all polite, said our thanks yous, etc. then when paying our checks came, she shoved the card reader into my hands and walked away. Once I was done paying mine, she still wasn’t there to switch it to another check and my friend asked her how to use it and she snatched it out of her hands. Whoever this lady was, either had a bad day and took it out on us or shouldn’t be working in this job service.

Also the food was not very good. My flatbread was super crunchy and burnt, my friends nachos had like zero cheese on it. The only good things we had at lunch was the cheese curds and...

First time here for lunch on a Thursday. My son built his own bacon double cheese burger off their menu with the mac-n-cheese. He liked the burger but fell in love with the Mac-n-cheese. We purchased more to go. My rib tips were tender, well prepared, and delicious with the right amount of gristle to meat ratio. They had over 21 beers on tap ready to go. The sauce that comes with the rb tips is good, but try the others that are at the table. Cornbread is pretty dang good too. GREAT place and an awesome staff!

THEY PUT DEEP FRYER OIL IN MY SMOKED BRISKET!!!!!!!!!. #1 Do not eat here. I ordered smoked brisket carryout. When I got there the smoker wasn't even running. So either they gave me old brisket and poured deep fryer oil on it or they deep fried it! Absolutely disusting and I will never eat there again. Failure of cooks and especially management to hire trustworthy cooks. I wouldn't trust these people with your food. See the pic. I held the tray at an angle so the fryer oil would run down. 🤮
