This place is amazing 👌 and it smells so good. You don't have to speak Spanish, but it makes you want to say "muy delicioso!" Fresh baked bread, donuts, Cookie's sweetshops items and so much more. It has many central American food and ingredients to make your own authentic dish's. They have souvonieer's and Mexican style items. Like most central American stores they do not have prices on most items or the baked goods in the glass racks.. most items donuts, sweets, coffee cake, pan loaf are all $1 each. In summer 2021, I stumbled on Indiana Mexican Bakery while looking for a used book (I was across the street). For years, I've been getting my pan dulce from another panderia when I'm in Fort Wayne. I did a taste test today. I bought similar items at both places and took them home. It's hard to describe, but Indiana Mexican Bakery tastes Mexican, while the other place tastes American. The store obviously caters to the Hispanic neighborhood, but willingly entertains non-Hispanics. I used to go to a bakery in Logansport, but have been missing them since moving to Fort Wayne. I missed their COOKIES. SOOO good! But I found this place and its cookies are JUST as good!! I don't think the building has signage but the restaurant next door pointed me to their direction.
