Lawton is an amazing park. (Despite what people say you can ride scooters and BMX bikes here, the rules posted are outdated and a friendly advisory to its fellow skaters. If showing up with a bike or scooter be cautious around other skaters/riders.) The bowls are smooth and the ramps are crisp. The only downside to this park is the amount of people that herd themselves there with their friends only to sit around and get in the way. Thereโs almost always litter there and people abusing drugs and alcohol AT NIGHT which is a let down for people who go to just skate rather than to have drunk people get in their faces and the smell of pot in their noses. Great place for kids and better than the ones in our home town. I don't understand the turnstile at the entrance since there isn't a lock on it but I guess just so no bikes can get in. At Obrian park in SB, all wheeled equipment can be used and the kids know about who goes next....
