I sent the below message directly to Jimmy John’s Corp requesting follow up with the local store listed below on 8.18.22. They responded and stated that some locally would be in touch.
As of this date and time, I still have yet to be contacted by the local chain for follow up.
Very poor service. See below. Avoid Jimmy John’s on Coldwater Road in Fort Wayne, IN if you want “Freaky Fast” service..

Please excuse the delay. I have finally calmed down enough to write this feedback.
I made my online order on 8.15.22 at 12:35pm. Due to my busy work schedule, I just wanted to be able to quickly stop in and retrieve my order, once I was able to take a break from work.
I arrived approximately 1 hour later, (1:34pm) knowing full well that my order was waiting for me on the pickup shelf. However, to my surprise, my order nor any other pickup orders were on the shelf.
The store was empty, there were no customers. The only other person in this location was a lone female employee.
I asked if she received the online order from an hour ago and her statement to me was the following:
"I am here by myself and have just gotten caught up."
I told her that I understood but that I placed my order 1 hour ago and online did not alert me that this store was short staffed so that I as a customer could choose a different JJ`s location for lunch.
The female associate looked at the order in front of her, I assume it was mine because she said, "What, a free birthday sandwich anyway."
I was totally shocked!! So it matters if I paid on this date versus being rewarded for being a regular "paying" customer..
In short, I am very unhappy with this experience. Furthermore, today is 8.18.22, 3 days later and I still have NOT eaten that sandwich that your lone on duty employee prepared for me that day.
Yes, I still have it in my work fridge as for the trust was gone with her comments.
Please make this right.
I do recommend other Jimmy Johns nationwide, just not the one at 5412 Coldwater Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Store # 982.

Read moreI do not go out of my way to write negative reviews, in fact I don't think I have ever posted one here on google, but I have had so many negative experiences here that I felt as though I must. Went to Jimmy John's today for lunch around 11:30am to pick up lunch through the drive thru. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait as the workers were filling a catering order. I haven't worked in food service since my days at Indiana University, but I can assure you that turning away customers during the beginning of a lunch rush is NOT the way to conduct business. When I asked if they really couldn't make one sandwich, the man running drive thru yelled "NO, if you don't like it you can leave."
I had another significant previous negative encounter here in May of 2022. Ordered from the drive thru at 11:15, pulled up straight to the window and paid for my order as no one else was in line. Sat at the drive thru for 20 minutes. No one inside was making any sandwiches, a long line had formed behind me. No one came to the window to let me know what was going on and why things were taking so long, as I had already paid, I was effectively being held hostage waiting for my food. As I had to be back at work by 11:45, I knocked on the window to ask what was going on, and was berated and screamed at by a young woman working. She told me that me interrupting her wasn't going to my sandwich any quicker. Ended up waiting almost 30 minutes in total, no apologies or explanations. Really should have learned my lesson after this first experience and should have never gone back. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice.... won't get fooled...

hello yes i am here to do a review of this jimmy johns """"Gourmet"""" sandwiches. i am gluten intolerant so i couldn't have the bread, so i basically got ham, cheese, mayo and tomatoes wrapped in lettuce. first of all, i took off the tomatoes because i dont like them. I also scraped off a bunch of mayo because there was way too much please stop putting so much mayo. When I finally got around to eating the thing, it wasn't that good. i couldn't taste the cheese, some ham, but mostly just lettuce. i must have missed some mayo because i took a bite during the end of the thing and got a mouthful of mayo...disgusting. i spit it out right away. my brother and my father both say the bread isnt really that good, its hard and gross. my dad said "just go to subway instead, cheaper and to me, better food." i agree with him.
Service (drive through):
we ordered three bags of chips and only got two. on the receipt it said we only paid for two so i guess we didnt pay any extra. lil bro didnt get any chips though, my dad and i ate them all. he not only didnt get any chips now, but only ate half of his sandwich because he hated the bread. the person taking our order didnt really seem to be listening... my mom said two number ones and he said "...so a number one..." like he wasn't even listening. my mom was talking loud enough so i dont know what the problem was.
i didnt like it and i wont be going back any time soon. not sorry. maybe they just need to slow down a little, and stop making the sandwiches so sloppy! not...
