Panera Bread is heavenly! I ordered through their drive thru and I was given enough time to decide what I wanted to order without feeling pressured or rushed. The employee was helpful with explaining the prices of things I asked about. The food has always been amazing at Panera Bread. Even though it's pricey sometimes, it's nice to find a fast food restaurant that has an excellent variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries, coffees, drinks, bagels, and bread that is top notch. I recommend the Asiago cheese bagel, the cinnamon crunch bagel, the Frontega chicken sandwich, the french onion soup, chicken and wild rice soup, and breakfast souflee's. Great coffee too! The employee there was friendly and even offered an extra coffee they had mistakenly made for free! Also an insider tip: you can ask the salad and sandwich cooks to throw on some extra parmesan cheese on your Cesar salad or French onion soup, and they will give you more cheese without charging you. Also with your soup/sandwich you get a complimentary side of either kettle cooked potato chips, or a generous piece of French baguette, or an apple. You can also opt for the multi-grain baguette if you prefer at no additional cost. I've often thought of Panera bread as the white collar McDonald's, but regardless, the food is beyond delicious and you leave a...
Read moreWent to Panera on DuPont about 11:45 this morning, (Sunday Feb. 28th.) They stop serving breakfast at 11 so we said we would have a bagel and they were out of Bagels. So what would be the big deal to serve breakfast all day? It is not like they have to make the food. And then to be completely out of bagels before noon on a Sunday. We went next door to Starbucks and got breakfast sandwich with no problems. I really was happy to see this Panera open close to my home but they are proving to be a big disappointment , I know it has to do with the management and I sure wish they would get their act together soon. The weekend's they have young girls that are not trained and really don't give a care. The last issue I had there was the girl at the counter couldn't get the order right and didn't know how to work the register. When I went back to finally pick up my order there were three girls standing there talking and I said that the girl at the counter was having a hard time they said well she is new and I said so so why isn't someone helping her out and they just looked at me. During the week they have some older people that work the counter and they are much better Too many bad experiences and with good service at Starbucks who needs to go to Panera and...
Read moreManagement team at Paneera Bread at Dupont Road is highly unprofessional and does not care about customers . Placed an order for sandwich , requested Avacado and payed extra dollar for it . When order was picked up , there was none so i asked person in kitchen that i payed extra for it , he said sorry and tuk my plate and made it appear as if it has been taken care of .
When i went to my seat and checked my sandwich , there was hardly any avacado . I took the plate to front desk and showed them and asked for manager . Girl named emily went inside but when she came back she said do you need more avacado or pastry . Did not have courtesy to apologize , asked for manager , without mentioning a word on that front , she is trying to throw pastry on me face . We went there to celebrate family event during lunch hours and thats what i end into . Girl named emily kept smiling when i told her how i am being harrassed and on top when i went to my seat , three girls on front desk were laughing loud about incident .
Such a treatment you can expect when they are not so busy , not to mention what will happen...
