Was very excited when this DQ reopened. We had gone too long without! Unfortunately, our 2 experiences have been very regretful and we will not be back anymore.
My son and I swung by for Blizzards last week, ordered extra toppings, and still had nothing but plain ice cream for the last quarter of it.
Decided to give them a try for dinner tonight due to my wife and I both being busy. We used Door dash and in the instructions for the 2 burgers we ordered I put meat and cheese only. Food arrives, lots of napkins and that’s it for extras. No straws. No ketchup. No salt and pepper. Just napkins. Open the first burger. No cheese, meat, and all the toppings with mayo. Guess what the send one looked like? Yep...the exact same.
I call the store and got the joys of speaking with the manager on duty. I politely let him know what happened, he asks for my name so he can see the order. He gets it pulled up, reads me the notes, and says the following:
“Sir, because you didn’t pay for cheese, we didn’t put any on them and just made them like normal.”
I told him I could add cheese at home, but perhaps a message or call to us would’ve been better. I asked how they decided to make them normal when it clearly stated meat and cheese only. Why would I want vegetables and mayo on it?
“Again sir, you didn’t pay for the cheese, so we just make them normal at that point. If you want to come up here, we can replace the burgers, but you’ll have to pay for the cheese.”

Read moreWhile we are ecstatic that our neighborhood Dairy Queen is back in business, you guys still have a long way to go with the quality of your products and being able to follow through on orders. My daughter went through your drive through for our order (01/04/21 - #AACTXJUEAJGB/DT-199) and requested an extra gravy along with our other items. My wife and I actually share the 6 piece steak fingers to save on money as it fills both of us up. It's also the reason we will always come back to DQ because we do love the food. Fries were crispy, steak fingers were hot and cooked to perfection... yet, we didnt get the extra gravy that we requested. Ya, it's just gravy, but still, we ordered it and were more than willing to pay for that extra bowl of goodness. The other thing is your sodas. From time to time you guys should check to see if things are good with the dispensers. Both of the drinks that we got were nothing but carbonation with cherry and vanilla. We did request a regular Dr Pepper, but both had cherry and vanilla (you could see the flavors on the rim! That's how we know both got them.) Needless to say, slightly disappointed. That's not to say we aren't coming back to our DQ, because no matter how bad our order gets jacked up, we are Texans and love our DQ. :-) We will keep coming back hoping for better quality checks and better verification of...
Read moreSo. As I was getting in line in the drive thru, I was the second car. The back door was open and the teenagers were going in and out the open door. Then I get to order, you could hear them laughing through the headsets. The car in front of me paid and was told to pull up. Then I paid was handed my drink and told to pull in a parking spot. I asked for a straw and the girl looked at me like I was a problem. I pulled up and parked. After 7 cars go through the girl comes out with the food and handed it to the car that was parked first. They handed back 2 bags and the girl walked over to me in the front area parking. She asked if I was parked and I said yes. She handed me my food and I asked her for a receipt. She looked at me and asked "you want a receipt?" I said yes cause they didn't give me one at the window. She finally brings out a receipt and I asked her why on the cars you park, do they get cold fries? She says, "you want hot fries?" And just stared at me. I asked who the manager on duty was and she said Chris. But if you want to talk to him you gotta come in. Looks to me that the inmates are running the asylum instead of the manager managing the processes. Like no control over food safety..food handed to another customer, speed of service, customer satisfaction, manager not managing and repeat business. Too...
