I drive through this Sonic regularly because it's the closest to my home. I drove through tonight, January 1st 2023 and the clock in my car reads 9:59 p.m. When I get to the drive-thru the girl on the other end of the intercom tells me they are closed and I responded " it's almost 10:00 pm and you guys are closing"? She said " yep we close at 10:00 on New Year's Day". So, knowing that it's just now 10:00 pm, I ask if there is any way to just get a drink-that's all I was asking for was a Coke. She responds "no we close at 10:00" and then turns off the lights to the outside. What makes me angry about this is that other cars pulled into bays as I was pulling into the drive-thru and those vehicles were still there and were most likely being served. There were only a few cars there... how many of those were employees, I don't know. It's terrible customer service to not honor the last car in the drive-in as it turns 10:00 p.m. Especially when the lights are all on, and the only item that car wants is a drink. But even if I had an order with food, it was not exactly 10pm, they had no signage indicating they were closing early, and nothing posted on the drive thru menu board stating they were closing early today. The girl on the intercom was rude, and considering I frequent this location almost daily, you'd think they would want to show that customer service was important to them. There were no other cars behind me, they should have honored my drink order then turned off the lights and closed. I won't return to this location... There are other locations that put customer service first, those are the more successful Sonic locations and the only ones I'll use from now on after...
Read moreThis is THE SLOWEST Sonic known to man. My husband and I ordered online around 11:15am and sat in the stall for 50 minutes before our food made it to us. We pressed the red button twice and nobody answered. Tons of cars were coming and going and we hardly saw a car hop come out to bring anybody anything. The drive thru lane was moving though. The car next to us ordered a single ice cream cone and he waited at least 35 minutes for that. I saw a few cars that pulled up AFTER we did get their food BEFORE we did. When we finally saw a carhop my husband rolled down the window and asked if there was an ETA on our food as we had been waiting for 40 minutes. The carhop said she didn’t know as there were only 2 people working today. He asked if she could check and come back and let us know. She had passed us 3 more times and never came back to let us know. My husband had to get out of the car and knock on the door in which the same carhop opened the door and again said it was only 2 of them and she didn’t know how long it’d be. He asked for the manager who came to the door giving the same excuse and said they needed about 5 more minutes. Our food finally came. We waited almost an hour at Sonic for our food. That is absolutely ridiculous. There were no signs and very little communication to let any customers know they were short staffed and it’d be faster in the drive thru. Horrible customer service. If we hadn’t have already paid for our food we would’ve left long before an hour had passed. Luckily there’s a better one closer to us as we had stopped on our way home from church. Just turn around and go somewhere else. This isn’t our first experience with them...
Read moreEmployee tht is slow to learn wrks there and she hant hd tht much experience due to hving to take care of me since August 2017 due to stroke and cnt walk...so the girl Savannah or something like tht doesnt wnt to wrk w the employee cs she is slow...in stead of asking her story...which the other girl tht hired her Heather knew she ddnt hv much experience bt wnts to learn...every wk thy are trying to push her out cs of it...wht if she ws mentally slow...thy still gonna treat someone tht way...bt its ok for Savannah or whatevr the 18 yr old girl does like to play UNO whn busy is ok...i use to b in payroll/HR...and how thy treat her and others are dwn right shamedul...my daughter will kill me ik...bt if i wsnt stuck in ths wheelchair, i wld b saying something in person to ths un professional girl...immature child...talks about her 2 ft away...which is sort of normal n ths environment bt it isnt necessary for thm to wrk her 3 hrs a day for the wk or one day now...use to b 3 days and hd nerve to ask if she cn stay late...no one can take her under there wing and giv sum training...she ws hired as a car hop pay...bt thy hv her inside alot so hopefully thy arent doing wrong there among other things i wont mention...i doubt ths matters bt tht place of employment and cpl employees shld b ashame of there selves ...it is a franchis i believe so is owner gonna let thm gt away w it...thnks for scheduling her only one dam day ths wk cs now we cnt pay rent...appreciate...fyi, customers do like her cs one told her other day to make sure tip goes to her and she sd it really dnt wrk tht way...
