Dan's Seafood & Chicken — Restaurant in Fort Worth

My experience with Dan seafood has been an Extensive one I’ve always ate there because I lived in the area and the food was ok and the prices were OK but I Experienced something that told me a lot about the place that I’m dealing with they made me a spicy fried rice combination that wasn’t spicy I get it every week sometimes twice a week but this time it was not spicy I called them and explained them that they didn’t make it spicy and the woman says well what do you want me to do about it she said you could either bring it and will remake it or that’s it thought that was a bit odd when I had explain to her who I was I come faithfully always been a good customer wasn’t able to bring it then because I was on my way to work told her I would bring it the next day so I brought it the next day and the owner grabbed my to go box full of the rice and started cooking it I asked him what he was doing he says he was making it spicy for me I told him it was from yesterday and have been out all night He explained to me it was still OK and that it would still be good that he does it all the time that let me know that the food that I have been getting was potentially not up to par and could have been expired or out of date that these people don’t care about those types of things and was not willing to make me a fresh rice Very unprofessional told me a lot about the people that work there he smiles on my face and asked me how I’m doing every time I come but soon as I had a problem he changed his face and said no I cannot make it and was very rude because I wanted a new one I will never go back to this place and I suggest that you be careful in what you order because you never know it may be a reheat a remake from...

My first time here and it will be my last time! Horrible customer service. No etiquette & just plain rude and ghetto! I will never be back. I came on 7/5/2022 around 6:40pm the black girl with the braids taking orders at the drive-thru, needs a new job outside of customer service asap. She is literally the perfect example of how not to talk to, treat, or assist customer! The restaurant and her should be a shame of her nasty attitude & behavior but I can tell she doesn't care and will continue to do it! & that is why WE WILL NEVER SPEND MONEY here again regardless of how good the food is. This place is wicked awesome!! The owner is super funny & friendly as well as his family & others who work there. There is a bit of a wait for the food but it is cooked when ordered & the price is great for the amount of food you get. It is all well worth it!! Dan's has been around for over 10 years & going strong, Everyone knows if you've been around that long it has to be good. Definitely try the tartar sauce & ranch dressing if you get the fish & chicken & the crinkle cut fries are great too! I recommend eating at the restaurant if you are getting any fried food but if you have to take it to go then expect it to get soft due to the steam trapped inside the to-go plates.
