Went to pick up an order I had received through UberEats to deliver around 2:00 am last night (8/22). This location was a bit further than I'd normally drive but I was going to receive $38 total from Uber and in tips so i made an exception to take extra time and drive the longer distance because at least the pay will make it worth it right? Nope. Because this Jack in the Box location is seemingly only here as scientific experiment to see if less evolved life forms could be capable of doing a basic min wage job, then testing the limits of how incompetent your employees can be without losing you money. The 2 only employees working the night shift on 2:00 am on August 22nd had the great idea that even though they're supposed to be open 24 hours, if they could just put a cone in front of the drive thru, none could pass and they wouldn't have to do a single thing. Genius. I drove up to the drive thru speakers anyway since the front clearly indicated 24 hrs and decided to just go to the window when nobody said anything. At the window I saw what closely resembled a personified 300 lbs burlap sack of instant mashed potatoes trying to hide after seeing me pull up but I was able to outwit this giant walking mass of artery plaque by calling the store to say "can you please look to your left? I've been waiting at the drive thru window for a long time now." He finally came to say he couldn't take any orders. I said okay that's fine I'm picking up an order for Uber so it might have been made already, don't you worry I can see how hard it is for you to simply walk, i wouldn't endanger your safety by expecting you to do your job. He checked the name of my order, checked the computer, checked the only order that was already made and ready to go, and repeated this a few times for at least 5 mins or so just to come back and say they can't make any more orders right now. ."What?" "We don't have someone to make sandwichs." Then an older woman with an apron walks up to him so I ask " What about her? Or you? Can you not make sandwiches?" "Well there's no managers so we can't take any orders." But this order was already taken He looks at me like an overweight baby that just got caught stealing more cookies then just closes the window on me and walks away. Finally after all that he comes back to say they actually never got an order with the name I have so I'm forced to leave and call Uber about what happened, I make no money, and wasted an hour of my time. All because working the drive thru at Jack in the box in the middle of the night is just too difficult a task for 2 people to do. They both came out the front as I was leaving, angry that the cone was moved to let me through, and moved the cone back to blocking anyone from interrupting both of their time getting paid to not do anything at all. As I was leaving and the fleshy bowling ball was moving the cone back I asked "Why stay open if between the 2 of you you can't put a sandwich together?" And the oversized humanoid furby with a sh't neck tattoo said, completely humourless, "Well, we can um, like, clean... We have managers coming in tomorrow . He then angrily asked if I was the one who moved the cone. I lied and said noooo I would neevverrr. I lied. That's right you living example of what people would look like just before winter if humans hibernated, I moved the stupid cone, and I'd happily do it again. To the managers supposedly coming in, I hope that place is literally spotless clean, because your night shift is apparently just straight up refusing to sell anything, or even make the orders that they couldn't prevent the sale of. I hope you do what you need to do with those employees who have stolen money from...
Read moreYou have to give one star so you can post your complaint I have never been so disappointed in this location than I've been in the last year it started when they did construction shut it down and came back without all the flavor of drinks they used to have ownership has changed I usually know by who's on the speaker taking my order if I'm going to be dissatisfied. Today my son went and he gives my instructions on what, and how I eat, because if he ordered it wrong it's his responsibility to take it back but these people sold him a chicken sandwich that had to be already fried and re-warmed in the microwave it was horrible my food is always a special order especially when it's chicken because the chicken has to be thrown out if it's been sitting too long for health reasons then I call the establishment and they repeatedly hang up the phone. I went online tried to put my complaint in to only be stopped before I got finished I'm long winded and passionate about my food and $ if you don't have the menu items as for us to substitute have integrity about what you're selling if you want eat it why, fix it for someone else if you don't have enough employees show up take the orders pull us around and walk out and hand us the correct food ordered get this establishment...
