East Gourmet Buffet — Restaurant in Fort Worth

The service is still decent, and the restaurant is kept clean. Lunch during the week is $11.69. However, the weekend buffet doesn’t fit the bill for $15. I noticed the food quality keeps going down each time I visit.

At 11 am there's a sign stating they're serving dinner. Perhaps, the prices and menu are the same throughout the day on Saturday. They've taken down any visible prices. If on a TV screen etc. I didn't see anything. The buffet with water was over $15 w/tax at 11 am lunch hrs. My issue is you can't be sure about prices when they aren't visible. Service was decent and the seating area was pretty clean. Some food should've been hotter, but they did have a good selection of meats and seafood that was delicious. The only reason I'm giving them a 3 is due to no prices being listed. According to a small card I picked up at the counter dinner on Saturday starts at 3:31 pm, not 11 am. If dinner is served all day Saturday, I'm cool with that as long as menu items are the same as dinner to match the prices.

Pretty Good! They had different food options compared to other Asian buffets I've been to. Happy waiter wasn't begging for a tip before I even finished my food like other Asian buffets. I was actually more than happy to leave a tip because my waiter wasn't...

First of all, I love buffets and know to expect both good and bad food. My experience here was the worst! A friend and I went here and almost left immediately after seeing the price... 11.99 for the buffet and 2.00 for a drink. This was a Saturday but still not a cheap place. Every item I tried was revolting. Not much of a good selection of food. I've NEVER been disappointed with pepper chicken at any place but here. Meat at the grill looked questionable as wether it's even edible. Ribs tasted burnt and sauce was not good. Curry chicken was tofu labeled chicken and shockingly the only thing that actually tasted like chicken were the chicken nuggets probably since this place bought them elsewhere and did not alter them. I couldn't believe a buffet could be this bad but moved on to fruit and dessert and the nightmare continued! Cakes had a sour, spoiled taste as well as the fruit. Peaches, pears and everything in between seemed as if they were spoiled with the Mandarin salad tasting as if it was getting an alcohol content from fermenting. Bottom line... horrible food, overpriced and a disappointment to buffets everywhere. Will definitely not...

Cons, I wish there were more food options for food and dessert. Almost always out of crawfish because there's a small tray for it and for a food item as such people normally grab plates of it. (If I ask when they'll have more out they are nice and check with the chef to get more out). Food isn't always fresh, I try to go before dinner rushes or when its stead so the food is cycled out and not sitting all day like it would on a slow day at lunch, which I think is reasonable. They can't throw all the food away every 30min to an hour. Pros, friendly staff! If I have questions about the food in any way I've never gotten the eye roll or annoyed feel. I like privacy and if they're not packed they always move us to a table I'd prefer better. They bring the check quickly even if we still want another fruit plate or something before we leave and still don't rush us out. Not at your table every 2 minutes but my drink stays full. I prefer taking the little drive to this place rather than the places...
