El Compadre Tacos y Mas — Restaurant in Fort Worth

We went there today trying to actually go to Tres Betos because they haven’t updated their address I guess. Anyway.. decided to stay to eat.

Well I just wanted to say that service is definitely on point! They are very attentive. The guy serving us was nice and very kind. Restaurant is very clean. Probably the cleanest Mexican restaurant I’ve been to but I don’t think their AC is working! It’s FREAKING HOT in there. We came w baby and we were all sweating! 😑

Now let’s real talk. Their food. Food is bland, no flavor 2.5stars. Price point for birria tacos is $12 for 3 tacos and rice and beans. Which I was ok good.. cheap. But I swear; they gave probably one table spoon of rice and half table spoon of beans. I forgot to take pic I’ll do it next time. Tacos have no meat inside! It’s petty!!!!!! You can’t call that tacos. Their asada tacos, gross!! It’s just not good. They are so stingy if you are real Mexican you’re gonna look at that plate and you’re gonna be uhhh my grandma is ashamed putting this in a plate.

So ordered 2 birria plate, 1 extra birria, 1 extra asada, 3 Mexican coke, and of course I had to order extra rice cz damn! All came out to $60 w tax! Honest to God I didn’t even want to pay it! Because I can go to Texas road house and get 3 thick and juice steak of that price! Just embarrassing! They just need to reevaluate and try again because I sure am not coming back! His friendly demeanor and personal recommendations made ordering a breeze, leading me to discover my new favorite dish which were the mango habanero wings. These wings strike the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, making each bite an explosion of flavor.

No meal here is complete without a side of crispy fries, their tasty ranch, and fresh celery and carrots to complement the wings. The combination is simply unbeatable!
