Tres Betos Taqueria — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Came to try this place for the first time, immediately after walking in the hostess said something entirely slurred (I take it she was drunk) after having to ask what was being said 3x we finally made words out of it and were seated by one of the waitresses. I asked for a mangonada; a mock tail on their menu. Then was asked for my ID (im 19 y/o) so I questioned why it was needed. Apparently it was alcoholic (there was one alcoholic and one cocktail version of the drink, but I pointed at where it was on the menu) at this point it seemed like the waitress was drunk as well. I had to pick another drink, a cucumber water (which was nasty). The entire time (the two times she checked up on the table) the waitress was just hard to talk to as her speech was slurred and her responses were delayed or just didn’t make sense. We finally get our food, it was decent so that isn’t necessarily the problem. Not even halfway through our meal we find a fly in the food. We try to get someone attention and finally after 10 minutes of waiting for someone to come they get what I’m assuming is the manager. He walks over and apologizes as and I quote “the flies have been a problem recently because the dumpster in the back hasn’t been fumigates” then proceeds to try and makes jokes about the situation saying the guy who usually does it is on vacation. I’m sorry but that isn’t my problem or a laughing matter. We were offered a discount which was fine but then was offered a to go box for the remaining plates? The audacity, as if I’m gonna eat any further after the flies have been a “recurring problem”…. Overall the service was terrible and management obviously isnt on...

Our first time there ( our ) experience was bad. We were excited to try this place because they advertised the Birria Tacos with Ramen. Which is my jam 😁. Come on tacos and ramen together tf who does that 😯. So off we went, Got there, sat down, ordered and done right 👍. I was Excited, Ready to eat 🤤 everything sounds good right. Nope nope This is what happened - The waitress took our order down wrong which is impossible due to it being all the same thing for the three of us my girlfriend and daughter. We ordered three sopa birria taco combos. She brought us three cheese taco plates with no ramen, which was the whole reason we went there. So I called her back and asked where the ramen was. She said oh I must have written down your order wrong ( mind you i pointed at the menu). So I asked if she could have them make our ramen noodles for our tacos and what do you know she only bought us back one order of ramen 😑. So I asked her where are the other two orders of ramen for me and my girlfriend. She said oh I'm sorry you wanted one for everyone 🤦 bruh. So I ended up just asking for our check and the other two ramens to go. We didn't even finish our food because of how frustrating the whole experience was. And the owner or whoever he was standing behind at the bar was very rude. When we got there after we ordered he turned the music up pretty loud we couldn't even have a conversation without leaning across the table. This place do not disturb a star. My husband and I went to eat at this place for lunch 11/8 as recommendation from one of my co-workers. The lady standing without the phone was our waiter. As we was getting ready to leave after our meal was done, we asked for a to go box. We was told that one of the sodas we ordered was not payed for. Our waiter brought us our drinks so how we did not pay. The lady that is holding the phone was the cashier. I asked how much the soda was which she said $4. I gave her $5 to cover the soda. I ask could she give me a receipt of all the items that we purchase. She ringed up our 2 meals and 2 Sodas and come to find out not only did I pay for the soda but she had over charge me by $5. I asked for my overpayment and the $5 back that I had just given her. She threw my $5 back to me and it hit the floor. I couldn’t believe she had done that out of frustration because she was wrong. At that point I felt like we was being racially mistreated. She begin recording after I demand for her to give my money back and for her to never try that again throwing my money back at me. She begin to speak in Spanish, laughing, and taunted us as we was leaving. My husband is Caucasian and I am African American. After all she never gave our money back.
