Jeff who is the manager at this location during lunch hour today 8/5/24 made my popeyes experience today very unpleasant and difficult. I normally order and pay through the drive thru. However on this particular day Jeff would not take 2 forms of payment cash then card. He stated that I could not pay 2 transactions at the drive through window. When ln infact I had done this many times before. When I relayed this to him. He proceeded to say that I am the reason employees were being fired for there cash registers being short on money. He further began to state that there was a line behind me and I would need to go inside the store and pay as the other customers food were getting cold. Instead of arguing and meeting his tone of voice I did go inside and Jeff continued to help other customers and not my self. After 5 minutes of waiting on Jeff to assist drive thru customers instead of dining customers. He asked another individual to ring me up. My food went through 3 different workers and after ring out my food was cold. The lady worker apologized to me for Jeff's behavior and I told her it was not her fault for his rudeness. The service isn’t friendly, I always order through the drive thru and they make you pull uu after you pay because they aren’t ready to serve you in a timely manner. Which if you hear my order on the headset then someone should be dropping it in the fryer. I’ve managed a Chicken Restaurant before and the Speed of Service here is Poor. Then I ordered the Shrimp and received about 8 tiny shrimp , definitely wasn’t 1/4 lb like advertised for the price of $12. I added 2 strips on the side that were very tiny and I could tell had been sitting under the light for longer than the allowed time. Now let’s talk about the red beans and rice, it tasted like plastic , which tells me it was sitting in the warming pan in the hot water TOO LONG!! I told the General Manager the last time I was there he needed to step it up, that in the food industry if you don’t care then don’t do it! I’m a General Manager for another Company Currently and I value all my Customers. Read moreThe order was set to pick up at 4:23. I entered the order at 3:28. When I arrived at 4:30 to retrieve order, the paper was still sitting on the counter. They said "it just got in". It took several minutes before the gentleman even dropped the chicken and I was told I would need to wait 15 more minutes. After 15 mins, he realized he hadn't dropped enough chicken. Other people began coming in, orders began piling up, and staff became visibly distressed and could not seem to keep up the pace. He told me he had to drop more chicken and it would be ANOTHER 15 mins. Once that was done, he realized he did all original and did not do a spicy order for it. Again, another 15 mins. Needless to say, I walked out of the restaurant nearly an hour after I was supposed to pick up my chicken that I preordered.
