Lisa's Chicken — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I went to this Lisa's location expecting what I expect at other Lisa's locations and was sorely disappointed.

Although the Fried Chicken had the famous Lisa seasonings, and fried just right, the pieces were much smaller than other Lisa's locations.

Unlike other locations, this location sells gumbo. Don't even bother wasting your money on buying it.

I bought the large gumbo for $6.99. What I got was a container that was 95% rice and 5% gumbo. That's if you want to call what they serve is gumbo.

Their version of Gumbo is watery like a soup, very small shrimp, very small pieces of sausage, big pieces a chicken, and a little bit of okra. So if you're expecting gumbo that's made with a roux base, this isn't it.

As far as seasonings, it seems like your typical salt and pepper. There is no gumbo file or any of the other seasonings that are typical of gumbo.

Not to mention the Holy Trinity that is supposed to be in the gumbo wasn't there which is onions, bell peppers, and celery. Instead it had green onions in it.

The owners of the Lisa's franchises need to come to the store and teach them first how to order proper chicken size that is in accordance with the rest of the other locations.

Customer service and speed and accuracy of orders are absolutely horrible , staff is disrespectful and doesn’t care about getting things done correctly or in a. Timely manner and also don’t care about customer complaints , I have been here several times because it’s the closest Lisa’s chicken to my house but I will never come back after last time , I went to drive through and was told to wait and eat there patiently for over 10 min at the speaker as I watched every car infront of me leave and then I was frustrated and tried talking into the speaker and got no luck several times and even yelled so they might be able to hear me and event honked several times and pulled up front and saw there was no car was up front at the window or ahead of me and I parked and went inside and told the person at the front and she just said ok and what do I want and I was so fed up I wanted to leave but I ordered my food and decided to post this review while I was still here to see if anyone would say anything but the girl at the front kept an angry look on her face and once she gave me my food I left , safe to say never coming back and I WILL BE WRITING TO THE BETTER BUSINESS...

Let me tell you about my recent experience with Lisa's Chicken. I ordered 10 pieces of their dark fried chicken, and oh my goodness, it was like love at first bite.
