Moe's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Fort Worth

My sister and i went here for breakfast once and we won't return. First they have a sign on the door stating if you order eggs you have to pay extra, which is a little silly, if a combo comes with eggs why do I need to pay twice for my eggs, but what ever. Then we were looking over the menu and chatting and I had laughed and our waitress shows up says she likes my accent then mocks my laugh and im like, im from here so it isnt any other than a texas southern accent. Alrighty then. I ordered the pancakes 2 eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns and my sister got the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs. All of it was disgusting. The pancakes were more like cornbread that was sweet, there was hair in my food, her gravy was sweet, and our waitress disappeared so we just sat there like guess we won't get this fixed. We flagged down another server and when we got our bill we saw the extra charge for eggs but they weren't the same charge I was charge 1.50 for my 2 eggs and my sister was charged 2.75, but we both got 2 eggs so we asked why and after a lot of back and forth we gave up and paid the bill. The lady who brought the bill back to be filed out and signed then explained how to tip like we were children. It was 40 bucks for this crap food, crap service and to be overcharged on eggs. Even if the food was good, which it was not even close to good, I would never come back based on the service, the disappearing waitresses and who ever the lady that gave us our bill was. This is my first here. I Started with getting a Togo order. I wasn’t given a menu to see what to order had i had to find one. Placed my order Togo. Paid and was never asked or given a receipt. Looked around while I waited and saw lots of customer waiting on their waitress to come by for a simple refill. They waiting a good while. Kept looking around and on a small white board there was a sign that said specials. Pretty much everything I ordered for a high price when I could’ve just purchased the specials but since the personal who took my order never mentioned ANYTHING about the specials it left me pretty upset. I saw a lot of food on the counter that was ready to go found out it was mine but placed on in restaurant plates not Togo. They came and asked if it was to go had to tellem yes it was Togo so they all scrambled and through everything in the Togo box’s loading each item with overdosing butter and just thrown in due to the lady that took my order never placed it to go. When the staff asked for help from the lady that made the mistake she kept playing dumb and ignoring them then went off somewhere else. Took everything home opened it all up and NOTHING looked appetizing. For my first time here I expected everything to come out great if not just decently good not slop thrown in a box. I went because I like to try new places when we get the coupon book in the mail so we went and first thing I notice on the door was $1 extra per extra egg lol then u walk in it was 2 older people in there but it was still kind of early so i said lets just see but now i see why it was dead so my boyfriend got liver and onions and I ordered a steak 2 eggs and hash browns with toast it took so long then we finally got are food and im looking over it because my steak was kinda grayish and I smelled something bad coming from it i told the waitress and said could i just get some bacon ill just eat my toast eggs and bacon because the hash browns were on the plate with the steak it all smelled bad but she brought it out my dude said the liver tasted microwaved or something idk i dont eat it couldn't personally tell you so I ask for the check the total is damn near the same price im like are you serious she went to ask the manager and he said yes hes charging like 12 dollars for 2 eggs a piece of toast and a piece of bacon after almost throwing up from the smell of the bad steak I gave my half off coupon and told them he was wrong they agreed but I would never recommend this place google really needs a negative...
