I decided to try the store again because the last time I ordered was late at night, and I thought that might have been the issue. So, I gave it another try during the daytime. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed again. The portion size is much smaller than the last two times I ordered, the food is cold, and it looks old. It’s really disappointing because there aren’t many organic food options in the city like this one. I hope that changes, so there will be more competition. Maybe then the restaurant will improve.
I also think the problem might be that many people don’t take pride in their work anymore. As for the portion size, I can’t help but wonder if the driver took some of the food, as I know that can happen—I’ve heard of shady things like that from a relative. Whatever energy you put out into the universe comes back to you. People often feel like victims of society, but the universe already knows who you are and how you’ll behave in the world.
That being said, the restaurant is still responsible for sealing the food orders. I don’t understand why they didn’t tape it this time; they usually do. They really need tamper-proof containers, and the cost of those shouldn’t be passed onto consumers, as the prices are already high and companies are making profits. Overall, I feel like things are getting worse for consumers, and I really hope this trend doesn’t continue into the future, making life harder...

I was welcomed to the line by a worker, Vanesa, frisbee-ing an empty bowl towards the bowl stack behind the counter, which fumbled around the space where everyone’s meal is made. Great impression. When I placed my order, she quietly and lackadaisically listed off all the ingredients out of stock, which was everything I had just tried to order. I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times bc the girl would not speak up. I pivoted to another bowl option. She hastily threw everything in and as she was ringing me up, I noticed a couple ingredients missing. When I addressed the issue and asked for help, she gave me sass & and put the smallest amount. As I ate my food, I noticed that not only were the portions ✨weak✨, but the temperature was severely off putting. The broccoli was ice-cold and the rest of the ingredients were lukewarm. Read moreWalked into this establishment today after being recommended to come and try. I was not greeted, I stood at the counter as I didn’t know the process, the person asked if I had an online order, in which I replied oh no I never been here before, but realize now I should be down there. Just got an “oh okay”” as a reply. I went to the area I assume I should be to order, where one I was not greeted yet again even after waiting a few minutes, this allowed me to notice the lettuce laying everywhere, and flies laying all over the veggies in the containers. It was then I just decided to leave without trying.
A simple greeting or “we will be with you shortly” allows individuals to feel welcomed and acknowledged. It goes a long way. There were only two people inside eating, and I’m sure they have online orders to fill, but just as they yelled across the way asking if I had an order, a hello welcome in would have worked the same.
