I usually don’t write reviews, but I was fairly upset with my dine in today. I have been here several times and haven’t had issues, but this should not have happened.

Took a while to get service, the server was genuinely pleasant though. I ordered a Lavander Latte that came out after people who I was there before’s food and drinks. I wanted to order a Ruben, but they were out of pastrami, so I ordered a friend chicken sandwich with fries instead. When the food came out they gave me a fruit cup instead of the fries I ordered. When I explained to the lady that I had ordered fries instead she said she would get some for me. By the time I got my fries I had already ate my entire meal and returned a muffin they gave me that I didn’t order. I felt compelled to eat the fries since they brought it out and I had waited that long. After I finished it took a while to get a bill and not only had they billed me for the fruit cup that I didn’t order, but they also billed me for the fries that were supposed to come with my meal regardless. It specifically says under sandwiches(paired with frites or a house salad). So I paid $2 extra for a dish I did not ask for at all and $5 for a side that should have already came with my meal. Because I self admittedly am not great at telling people when they messed up I reluctantly added a $5 tip. So a meal that should have been roughly $20-$24 cost me $32.39. I usually love this place. Today it was awful. We sat for at least 12 minutes until I finally stopped a server to ask if we even had a server, all while there were servers clearing tables just walking by us… without even making eye contact. While I can totally understand being understaffed. T would have taken two seconds to say, we are slammed right now and we will be right with you. That way you at least know someone realizes you’re there. Finally a server took just our coffee order. After another 12 minutes a manager came over and explained the server was new and that she would take our order. It took quite a while to receive our order. Others who came in after us and ordered after us were quickly served.

The food was not good. For the very first time. Also I asked about the pickled onions. Usually they are sweet and savory. These tasted not pickled and I believe they were spoiled. When I pointed this out to a server she said that’s just the way they are each batch is made from scratch. I ordered a side order of the pickled onions just to be sure it wasn’t because everything was all mixed together in the breakfast bowl. The service at this location has gone downhill. I went in this morning and stood at the host stand that says “please wait to be seated”. Stood there and no one ever came up or acknowledged my existence. I approach the counter and ask how to proceed if I want to sit outside, and am told to go ahead and sit and they’d send someone to serve me. Perfect!

I go sit outside and no one ever comes to my table. I wait a good 10-15 minutes. A family comes in and sits and within 5 minutes, a server goes to their table despite the fact I had been sitting there way before their arrival. I turn to face them and the server finally acknowledges me and asks if I’m going to dine/am I waiting on someone. I say no just me. Tells me she will be right back. Doesn’t return.

I go inside after waiting a while and the server is in there just cleaning doing other things. At that point, I knew her service would be …. Pointless to request. So I go order at the counter. The same girl who told me to sit myself says “did no one help you?” Mind you, she can see to the patio from where she stands, and they were not terribly busy. I say no. I Pay, leave no tip and fill out the feedback on POS machine. I give honest feedback and she chuckles. :)
