So, I usually go to the Tropical Cafe in Alliance Town Center, but decided to try this one since it was on my way home. I arrived and walked into the store and there were two individuals working the stations. They seemed very friendly with each other, but only greeted me with a hello. I proceed to look over at the pick up area as I arrived 2 minutes before it was suppose to be ready. It was not there. I then sat down until the two individuals were done dealing with the drive thru and working on orders. I asked them where my order was and they said "we do not have it." I proceed to show them the confirmation email and app notification that I placed an order at that exact location. They then said "oh I think we lost that receipt, what was on it again?" This should have been a clear sign to leave. I then showed them what I ordered and they rushed to make it. The smoothie I received was very watered down, nothing like I have ever had at one of them before. They then rushed to put my flatbread together and I exited the store. When I got home and ate the flatbread, it all seemed fine until hours later I started not feeling well and my stomach was super upset. It is about 7 hours later and I still feel awful from eating the food after taking something to help my upset stomach. I will not be going back to this location ever, the one in Alliance Town Center has never done anything like this and it is disheartening to see standards not clear across...
Read moreI have never felt so sad and humiliated in my life by the manager- Jason. I typically order from this location at least 3 times a week. I placed an order today through the drive through and all I said to Jason after placing my order was “please the chicken in the buffalo wrap I ordered yesterday was cold, can it please be hot today”?. Jason said sure, pull over. I did, he then told me while collecting my bank card that next I come through the drive through that I should move closer to the curb. At that point, I didn’t know he was mad about the statement I made about my wrap being cold. I looked out my car and said “oh I cant possibly drive any closer to the curb as I will scratch my tires and he replied with so much attitude and rudeness that yes you can and said that you customers make it hard for us and we have to constantly stretch to do transactions through the drive through all the time and I replied and said I hope you know that I am a constant customer here and he said oh I know who you are, just do better next time and before I could say anything else, he shut the window at me, rolled his eyes and walked away. I was shocked and scared as I typically not a confrontational person. He sent another employee to give me my wrap and I confirmed from the employee who Jason was. Considering I actually drove out my house on a Sunday morning to buy a smoothie and wrap, Jason, the general manager made the start of my day...
Read moreCustomer Service Excellence: Ryan took my order in drive thru and this young man was incredibly helpful, super patient, extremely knowledgeable of their products even explaining the minor differences of flavor changes that could be noticed between whey and pea protein. And I had so many other questions that he handled so perfectly. FANTASTIC customer service! Store manager: giving Ryan a timely promotion as soon as possible would be a wise and lucrative business decision, in my opinion. (Note: I don’t know this young man - I’m praising so much because this customer service unbelievably rare and deserves my time to write this). Also, the other guy that made my smoothie brought it to the window with a kind smile and pleasant attitude.
Product: I got the Bahama mama with two shots whey protein and multivitamin supplement as well (as a serious meal replacement). Very delicious no kidding probably the best smoothie I’ve ever had. High price at just under 10 bucks… but not unusual comparatively. Can’t fathom why it’s so expensive except to employ fantastic people, referenced above.
Bottom line to potential customers: Stop looking for places, you found...
