Quaint looking place. Horrible menu. Strong sulfur taste in my Mimosa so I could only tolerate one sip. Filthy table. Glass of water smelled and tasted fishy. Canceled food and asked for check. Paid and waitress Stephanie didn't even bother to ask what was wrong. I would give a zero, but a 1-Star was the lowest rating I could choose. UPDATE - RESPONSE to RESTAURANT 1) The table was dirty with crumbs of crust and crumbled cheese. A smear of some gravy or sauce was left behind and rubbed onto my arms. 2) The fishy smell likely was from the glasses. The tea and water both had the same odor. I Googled it, and it was suggested the most common issue was with the dishwasher, so I did not need another glass. 3) The Mimosa likely tasted like Sulphur because some wines have a high Sulfite content from the sodium metabisulfite used in production. Sulfur dioxide is often released from Campden tables, but usually dissipates before consumption. This was likely the source of the sulfur flavor. 4) The pairings on the menu seemed odd and unlike any "winery" eatery I have ever visited (I have visited many). Most items seemed heavy and unsuited paired with wine. 5) I chose to leave my review because the server seemed disinterested, and frankly, I was not going to eat or drink at a place with food clearly left behind on the table from the last customer.

Winslow's on Camp Bowie is an absolute brunch gem, and it deserves every one of these five stars! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is just perfect – lively without being overwhelming, with a chic and comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to settle in for hours. But the real star of the show is the excellent food choices. Their menu goes beyond your typical brunch fare, offering creative and delicious dishes that cater to all tastes. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly elevates Winslow's, though, is the professional staff. Every team member we encountered was attentive and genuinely friendly. A special shout-out goes to our waiter, Marty. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offered fantastic recommendations, and ensured our glasses were always full without ever being intrusive. His service was truly top-notch and made our experience even more enjoyable. Winslow's is now our go-to brunch spot. If you're looking for fantastic food, a great atmosphere, and impeccable service (especially from Marty!), you absolutely have to check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Such a great little Fort Worth gem. I enjoy happy hour with my girls as they have great beverage and food specials. Happy hour lasts until 7pm. Yay! People do work :). Everything on the menu is delicious from the salads to the wood fired pizzas to the specialty entrees. Last night I had the Jim Bowie pizza with the red wine of the week. My partner in crime had the balsamic glazed steak salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service is usually good. Parking is a bit challenging most nights unless you don't mind using the complimentary valet. You can now park in the small lot behind the new Winslow's Wine Cellar which is accessible from Camp Bowie. I'd also request to sit away from the restrooms.....there is a scent of sewer gas each time the door opens. :-/. Such a daunting task to discover the source oftentimes. Don't let that keep you from visiting.... I'll be back!

When we arrived, it felt like they were trying to deter us from eating based on the things they were saying (naming foods that were not going to be served). This did not deter the two of us who had arrived to eat, and so we were seated out on the patio area, where we were served water. After ten minutes on the patio, we asked to be seated inside and were placed at an inside table. We then placed our order with the manager who seated us there--our original server no longer served us, nor did any of the other servers, only the manager.

At this point, we had already been there for twenty-five minutes, and were just then being asked what we would like to eat. However, not only were we not asked what we would like to drink, but we weren't even brought anymore water. Time passed until we were there for fourty-five minutes: still no water refills offered to us, no offers from the drink menu, still no dinner which we had already ordered, and--the biggest disappointment of all--not one server nor the manager came to our table. They walked by numerous times, but never to our table, as though we were invisible and undeserving of service. At this point, close to an hour in, we left the restaurant.

After we departed the restaurant, my date placed a call to the manager of the Winslow's ( who had served us) and explained why we left which entailed all of the details described here. The manager offered a million excuses, none of which were acceptable. He was inadequate in responding to the complaints, and offered nothing to remedy the situation. We informed him that we would never return, and would offer our review on our experience online.

We dined at another restaurant not too far away in the downtown area of Fort Worth, a venue by the name of Cantina Laredo. The service was impeccable, and we were able to eat out on the patio, without delay.... We were promptly seated, served, and the service was consistent, professional, and overall completely enjoyable. This was the dining experience that saved a day that was almost ruined due to the awful experience...

We stopped in for a date night dinner on a Saturday night just before 7pm and it was our first visit so we didn’t know what to expect. Place was full and they sat us at the last table available inside. We were looking at the drink menu and realised they had a happy hour on a Saturday for 15 more minutes, awesome! Got our wine orders in along with a few starters - the Parmesan truffle fries and a Caesar salad with chicken. Typically when we share dishes we have to ask for small plates, but here they brought them out automatically which is lit and a nice touch of refined service we appreciate. They checked in a few times but we were eating slow and catching up after a long week. For a main, we ordered the pasta (there’s only one on the menu) with mushrooms and it was fire. All of the dishes we had were flavourful without being salty, oily, or overly buttery. Everything was perfectly balanced flavour wise which is hard to find as many of the more “famous” Fort Worth spots use too much salt, spice and butter, possibly to hide mediocre ingredients. Our waitress Jade was amazing. Attentive, observant, and prompt. To help with the pasta, we asked a server for a spoon and he brought it out on a plate atop a napkin - again, details of refined service. 10/10 service. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely - quaint with subdued lighting - they make the most of the space they have. Wine list has something for everybody but I gravitated toward their New Zealand pinot Grigio and sauvignon Blanc given it was hot out. I want to try their cocktails next time. We...

“Where friendships begin”? Tell that to the red head behind the bar. I came with two friends and my sweet pup. The hostess sat us inside. I thought that was weird with a dog, but the hostess knows the rules so who am I to argue. After sitting at our table for ten minutes and having several of the wait staff interact with my dog, the red head came over to my table and said “dogs aren’t allowed in here. You can sit outside.” I replied, “sorry, we were just seated here!” She looked at me dead in the face and said, “This is a RESTAURANT.” After we self seated our selves outside, she proceeded to converse with customers at the bar, rolling her eyes about the situation. My friend went inside to grab our silverware and went to clarify with the red head that we didn’t know dogs weren’t allowed inside and we’re just following the lead of the sweet hostess. She then said, “DON’T BE RUDE. This is a RESTAURANT.” After my friend joined us back at the table, we watched her through the window recounting the story yet again to customers. I personally watched her say “I told her dogs weren’t allowed inside and she (me) said, ‘yes I can’.” FALSE. I said nothing of the sort. Her customer service might favor those that tip her at the bar but that’s where it ends. This has been one of my favorite spot for quite a while. I am extremely disappointed by the way she handled the situation with such unprofessionalism.

Easton, you were a GEM. Given the situation, you maintained the utmost professionalism and checked on us appropriately....
