Wendy's — Restaurant in Fort Wright

When I was a kid growing up, I loved Wendy's. There was nothing better than a frosty, chicken nuggets and I loved their chili! Nowadays however, their service is lackluster at best. I truly believe that their employees are trained to rush you through the drive-thru so fast, they can't get a special requested order right. My order was pretty simply, three spicy chicken wraps without ranch. Of course, they had ranch but the drive thru was packed (I pulled forward to check my order so the next person could be served.), so I called and requested my wraps to be remade without ranch and brought out to my car as the dining room was closed. They remade my wraps but they were cold. The second time around, I ordered a baconator without any topping other than meat, cheese and bacon. The sandwich had mayo on it, they remade it but handed me a cold double cheeseburger with bacon, not even a baconator...and the outside of the wrapper had ketchup smeared on it.

I'm not trying to knock Wendy's but if they're going to stay open until 1am, they really need to implement better service for their late night crew.

(I will say, if you visit during the day, between breakfast and lunch, service is usually good and they take the time to make it right...just don't visit the drive thru...

I just wanna say, even through this crazy pandemic with covid and places being short staffed, this location absolutely kills it at the drive-thru everytime!🙌 Friendly staff, food is hot and order is correct, and I know even when there's a long line, I'll get through it relatively quickly. Y'all are doing it right, and the hard work is noticed. Thank you for a great experience everytime, keep it up!!♥️ Edit: Seems this location has gotten worse since my last review more than a year ago. Last 2 times I've gone thru the drive thru have been horrible. Once my order wasn't correct. Had to go inside to get the rest of it, got home and there was more missing than I realized. Then just the other day, the drive thru person is rude and playing games. Telling me what I should order, being smart and thinking it's funny. It's not. Nor is it cute. They have young kids working there now and some of them, all they do is play games and are rude and demeaning. May try this place once more before I'll just stop...

Went through the drive thru tonight 11/27/24 to get dinner the young man taking orders was rude and hateful. The manager had an attitude. This isn't the 1st time this has happened to me at this wendys with the same crew. I ordered a son of baconator, 6 p nuggets, small fry , baked potato with butter sour cream and chives and baconstor fries. I was still looking at the menu when the young man come across the speaker very rudely stating you need to pull up like I told you. So I go to the windows to pay for my food. Nothing but rudeness from the staff. Never received my baked potato. I tried to call the restaurant on 3 different occasions to speak to someone about the missing food. On all 3 occasions you can hear the phone being answered and people talking in the background then I get hung up on. This is uncalled for and poor customer service. Unfortunately I had to give a star or I would have not gave one at all. Food was all old nuggets where rock hard. Couldn't eat. Fries where stone...
