This chilis is always packed & always has a wait time so I’ve only ever dined here about 3 times prior it’s been A-okay. Me and my family of 5 decided to try eating dinner here since we live about 10 minutes away. I got down since it was a Saturday I wanted to see if there was a super long wait, I asked the hostess if there was a wait for 3 & 2 kids she asked another hostess & they said they could clean off a table for us which was very kind even though it was right next to the entrance where everyone was coming in & out I wasn’t complaining just glad there wasn’t a wait this time. After being sat the hostess proceeds to give us 5 adult menus and walks off… less than 5 minutes pass by when our server introduces herself to our table & takes our drink order I ask if we could get 2 kid menus for the kiddos she seemed upset that I asked said “sure” and gets the menus. Another random server brings us chips & salsa, then she came back to see if we were ready which we weren’t so she had to come back. A few families left so we had asked if we could be moved to a booth but since they already charged us for that table we couldn’t which was understandable we weren’t mad but they seemed more upset that we asked after that the experience just went downhill from there. Then we order, wait for our food, when it finally came out my spouse had ordered a 10 oz steak well done. I should’ve taken a picture but his steak was still bloody like the cooks didn’t even try to make the effort of cooking a well done steak. We had to wave our server down to let her know the steak wasn’t well done we weren’t mad we just wanted it well done, she didn’t show any sympathy just said “oh let me get you a plate so they could throw it back on the grill” she takes his steak back comes back and says “do you wanna cut it to see if it’s cooked all the way or whatever” and chuckled like as if this was funny .. my spouse proceeds to check and it was still bloody!! She says “oh wow” takes it back again and then the manager comes out with a new steak for my spouse has him check the steak which it was well done this time says “so sorry about that, can I get you anything else” doesn’t even offer a free dessert or discount for the inconvenience… I had to ask the MANAGER to take dishes and trash from our table… chips were really salty, my chicken tenders were extremely crispy felt like I was cutting the inside of my mouth eating them, my sons burger sliders were extremely burnt you could see the black … I’ve worked in restaurants & the customer service here was awful I can’t recall our servers name but she definitely made us feel rushed to order & to top it off the quality of the food was even worse probably rushed as well.. I definitely lost out on money and one thing I hate is wasting money on food like I did here at chilis on las estancias. Will not be coming here again. Only reason why I wrote this review was because I got super sick later...
Read moreWent here to get lunch and we walked in stood in front waiting for someone to seat us one worker was working and the other was standing there conversating ignoring us the whole time. My husband had to go up to her and ask her if we sit ourselves. She rolled her eyes at him then she apologized to the person that she was talking with walked around and grabbed two menus and finally took us to our table. She left then came back after about 7-10 minutes and asked us about our drinks we told her and we let her know that we were ready to order so she took our order then left. We got our drinks that another young lady bought then we got our food maybe 30-45 minutes later the same young lady brought it to us the woman who was supposed to be our waitress never came back to our table until we were ready to leave that's when she got us a to go box. I got the receipt and went to pay the bill was $27. And change the receipt said suggested tip $10. And change I gave her $40.00 and she gave me $2.00 back I told her that I gave her 40.00 and she owes me more than two dollars and she said that I had to pay her the 10 dollars and change for a tip I thought that the tip is if you want and how much you want. I didn't know that they can take how much money they want for a tip. I call that stealing. If that's what this chain of restaurant is doing it is wrong and to allow the employees to pick how much you tip them is wrong also I worked hard for that money to just give it away to someone who didn't even help me I wouldn't mind if she did her job but she didn't I was going to give the tip to the girl who actually helped us. I will not be coming back the employees ignore you and they steal from you. Sucks cuz the food was good but I'm not going to be returning to a place where they steal from you and ignore you. Maybe if you get different employees up front until then I'm steering clear from...
Read moreI have ordered take out at this location 4 times, 3 of those times I have to go inside to get my food, after I have checked in to get my food brought to my car. There is never anyone at that take out register. One of those times, my food was just sitting on a shelf and was cold when I got it home. This last time, I had to wait about 20 more minutes for my food, along with multiple customers also waiting. I had to pay for my free chips and salsa even though I ordered through my app and had free chips and salsa. I am paying every single time a tip, because it doesn’t give you an option not to. What am I paying a tip for when I have to go inside anyways and have to wait? The food isn’t that bad, pretty good most times but for what you pay for fajitas, over $20, it would be great to get more than a few strips of meat with tons of onions and a couple bell peppers. Also, customers who are dining in, are always parking in the pick up designated spots, leaving no where for people who pick up their food to park. There is no one sitting in those cars and have watched people park in the take out spaces and go inside to eat. This place is not ran very well, everyone is very disorganized in there. Workers are walking through that area and don’t even say a word to the customers standing there. I won’t eat...
