It you are 4 top or less that likes cranky and rude wait staff this is the place for you !!! We were not greeted at all, just told what not to do. Our party of 5 had to be split up because of fire code safety. ( We were sitting in a corner away from aisles and exits, but ok, whatever). The waitress who made us rearrange, wasn't even our waitress or a manager and did not even offer to take our drink order after the rude introduction. Once we were able to order from our assigned wait staff. The drinks sat at the end of the bar for no less then 5 min while the bartenders did nothing and the wait staff was busy. (There were 4 people at the bar. All tables were full minus 0ne, 2 top.) Multiple tables had started looking around the RM in hopes of getting their wait staffs attention. ( You know the look) What really topped off the experience was when she brought the ck. Didn't ask if we wanted anything thing else or even say thank you for moving and being patient because they were busy. Just passes all the cks out to all her tables without a word spoken. It is clear that being friendly and working as a team to give great service and make good money is not a priority. My advice walk the extra 10 feet to the Harvey House Cafe. They know what real...
ย ย ย Read moreI was on vacation when I came here. The service was impeccable. At the bar we were greeted by Soni and she was a ray of sunshine. She made sure we were taken care of in a fast and timely manner. She gave us the family friendly feel that we were yearning for when we arrived to the Grand Canyon. Working with her was Renee who also kept a smile on her face the whole time she was working behind the bar. On a Friday night it was very busy dealing with tourists and she made the most out of it for sure. We also met Axel, JJ, and Rodolfo who personally made me feel at home as I am from Argentina and it was very refreshing to meet such wonderful people. I would definitely recommend adding karaoke to the establishment to set yourselves apart from the rest of the restaurants tourists will go to. I feel like this is a perfect activity that everyone will love. I highly recommend going it made my stay at the Grand...

The tavern was a great spot to relax and have a light dinner after taking a sunset tour. The highlight was our server, Zac, who was charming and attentive throughout. It was quiet and the end of the night, so he was kind enough to let me ask him my many questions about working in the park. He was so graciousโI seriously had a lot of questions. The staff in general at the park has been outstanding, but he went...
