Over cooked steaks with a major helping of ATTITUDE from a manager! Do yourself a favor and go to Outback Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse up the street. TWO steaks (ordered medium well) were like hockey pucks and sent back. Took so long for the two new dinners to arrive that our two dining companions were already finished with their meals and had to sit and watch us eat. What a great dining experience for us all! On top of that the new steaks, although an improvement, were not medium well - good luck finding any pink inside! To make matters worse, the male manager came over with MAJOR ATTITUDE and instead of apologizing said, "mistakes are made, and we made it right!" No compensation whatsoever was offered for ruining our night out with friends. Frankly, he was not sympathetic and couldn't care less. As one of our dining companions said, "he was cocky" and (note: she is in the customer service field), said she was appalled by the poor customer service and care at this restaurant. It's a steakhouse for Pete's sake - there shouldn't be TWO mistakes made (actually 4) cooking steaks! I asked our server if there was another manager on site. Another manager arrived with better attitude, said she recognized us for being frequent customers, agreed we were not treated fairly, said she would speak to the other manager, and said she would have to see what can be done. Well, she came back 20 minutes later and only gave us 15.96 off our check plus a 10.00 coupon to return. Are you kidding me? That hardly made up for the bad steaks, attitude, aggravation, and a ruined evening. THIS IS NOT HOW TO TREAT GOOD CUSTOMERS! We never had such a horrible experience at this location, and we won't be using the 10.00 coupon because you lost us as customers. We will be going elsewhere. Oh and if you plan on using the men's room, do yourself a favor and bring your own towels because there weren't any to be found. Just another example of great management at this location! Who is "minding the store"? (Obviously no one.) Not sure if the empty tables at 6:00 PM on Saturday night were due to the rain or the fact that this once great steakhouse has gone down-hill and is poorly run. What a shame! Learn from us and go...
Read moreWe had an incredibly disappointing and embarrassing experience at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it completely ruined what was supposed to be a special anniversary dinner. Our servers were Sydney and Lee. While Lee was polite and professional throughout the night, Sydney was the root of the problem.
As soon as we were seated, Sydney asked how we wanted to split the checks. We asked for a moment to discuss it among ourselves since, as part of our family tradition, the family usually pays for the anniversary couple. Apparently, that was too much for her. She abruptly left the table, and we could see her at the waiters’ podium visibly pointing at us, rolling her eyes, and speaking to other staff in a demeaning manner. It was incredibly disrespectful and set the tone for the rest of the night.
Our drink orders were never taken until we had to ask for someone to come back. When the food finally arrived, all three steaks at our table were severely overcooked—ordered medium rare, but they came out well done, dry, chewy, and cold to the touch. One member of our party decided not to reorder and preferred to sit it out. We calmly let Lee know.
Later, Sydney returned and said they had put the steak back on the grill, even though we had clearly said we no longer wanted it. Not long after, the manager, Ryan, came out and accused our party of using foul language and being disrespectful to the staff—completely false. No one at our table had raised their voice or said anything inappropriate. From the very beginning, we felt unwelcome and judged by Sydney’s behavior, and this accusation from the manager was the final straw.
The situation escalated unnecessarily because of how poorly Ryan handled it. A more professional and neutral approach could have resolved the issue calmly. Instead, we were humiliated in front of the entire restaurant.
This was supposed to be a joyful night, and it turned into a frustrating and disheartening experience. The staff, especially Sydney and Ryan, need serious training in customer service and professionalism. And judging by the state of the food, the kitchen could benefit from using a meat thermometer.

Read moreFirst, my complaint IS NOT about the food or waitress as BOTH were fantastic. My complaint is with front desk/management. I called at 5:15, a call ahead, for a party of 7. Now keep in mind I also called at noon to speak with them and they said call ahead 30 minutes before you arrive. I did just that. I gave my name, cell number, party size and was told to come and check in when I arrive for a wait time. I arrive and am told my name isn't on there. After verifying that I called the correct phone number, with front desk, they said they don't know what happened and if Amy answered the phone(I didn't know who I spoke to). I was than told they would prioritize me and it would be about a 45 minute wait. A hour later I go in and ask how much longer I'm told about 15 minutes. So I wait inside. I actually watched them say my family was next and somehow a female manager told them to bump me and sit another family first. I watched a employee actually say, "I was told to prioritize this family and Brenda should be next"(Yes, my actual name was said with me standing right there). This same female manager said, "Well they are priority because they called ahead but we don't have it" She made quotation marks, with her hands, when she said "she called ahead". In other words she thought I was lying and was in fact bumped down for another party. I said nothing and waited. After about 15 minutes I go and ask again and am told they are cleaning my table so it's 5 minutes. I go get my family, come back in, AND THEY ARE ONCE AGAIN SAYING "LETS PUSH BRENDA BACK AND SEAT THIS FAMILY"! So I open my mouth and say " you just told me 5 minutes, you bumped me before, and now you are bumping me again? You just told me my table was being cleaned and it's 5 minutes"! They look at me and say what's your name? I'm Brenda the person you have been talking about the whole time I have been standing here. I did get sat, food was delicious, waitress was amazing BUT MANAGEMENT IS A COMPLETE DISGRACE AND SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED BY THEIR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND STRAIGHT UP MANNERS! Just awful...
