This restaurant deserves zero stars due to its lack of respect for delivery app drivers who partner with them. They have a back window where the restaurant asks drivers to pick up orders from the rear of the restaurant. Delivery app policies state that orders should be picked up at the drive-thru window if the restaurant is closed. However, this is the only McDonald’s in New England that asks drivers to pick up orders at the back window.
The problem is that drivers end up waiting 15 to 20 minutes at the back window. For example, in winter, it’s currently 15 degrees below zero, and they don’t put salt on the driveway or clean it properly. I saw two drivers fall during the last snowstorm because it’s full of black ice due to their lack of maintenance—they don’t put salt on the walkway or the driveway. They installed a bell for drivers to ring when they arrive, but the bell doesn’t work. In fact, the employees removed the button so drivers can’t ring it anymore. This is absolutely disrespectful.
I believe all drivers should come to this restaurant and leave a one-star review to teach the franchise owner to respect their business partners. Imagine if drivers decided to stop picking up orders from here—what would happen? I think drivers should start reporting this restaurant to the delivery app companies and stop working with this location.
This is pure disrespect. Orders at the drive-thru are ready in less than two minutes. But at the back window, drivers have to wait 15 to 20 minutes, and sometimes even 30 minutes. If it’s raining, they stand in the rain. If it’s snowing, they stand in the snow. The walkway and driveway aren’t cleared, and the place is freezing cold. This is an outrageous...
Read moreThe woman who answers the phone is extremely rude. She hung up on me. Then ignored my calls, and even taking the phone off of the line for several minutes. Once she finally spoke with me once more, she refused to give me her name and hung up once more. I was trying to be as polite as i could and she even tried to argue with me. I refused to feed into it. Once you put a uniform on, you are representing your company. And she was rude, disrespectful, and insulting. I would not recommend going here to anyone, unless they wanted to be screamed at and disrespected. I personally know of other people who have shared a very much so simular experience. They are supposed to be 24 hours but tend to close anyways. And that was another thing. Her story kept changing. First it was, "we are short staffed" and ehen i called again she yelled, "what part of our system is down don't you understand!?" I'm sorry but this type of behavior is just unacceptable and unprofessional. I've worked in the food industry, partly why i try to be nice because i have had to deal with rude customers in the past. BUT i would NEVER treat a customer the was i was...
Read moreI just went here after my doctors appointment this morning. I did a mobile order for a simple bacon egg and cheese mcgrittle, they took the money from my account but for some reason I didn’t have the confirmation number. The drive thru lady that took my order said they are having issues with the mobile order and to pull up to the second window to get my food. By the time I get to the first window, some other lady kept asking me for the number, I tried to explain my situation and instead of listening she insisted on me giving her to confirm number which I didn’t have. Anyways, I pill up to the second window, the lady follows and listens to me plead my case to the lady handing out the food. She says something in spanish to her manager and then that lady basically tells me, no number no food. I never got to talk to the lady that actually took my order despite me asking. Instead of causing a scene over a few dollars, I decided to drive away an unsatisfied and disappointed customer that won’t be coming back to...
