It's hit or miss. sometimes you can go in and get good service and good food sometimes you can go in and get bad service and overcooked food sometimes you get bad service good food. today I was taken to what I would call lunch but most people would probably call it dinner I don't eat as early as normal people so 4:00 is still lunch to me. My party got their way before I did so when I came in they already had drinks in an appetizer. When I came in and joined the table it took forever for anyone to ask if I'd like a drink or to even stop by the table to check on anyone. we were told our meal comes with two sides we were charged a higher price for the meals then the menu said and charged additionally for each side they only brought out half the food had to go make the other food the stakes were supposed to be the same steak but they were completely different cuts steaks. One was supposed to be cooked more it was cooked less than steaks that were supposed to be cooked less were cooked more. One order of Brussel sprouts was cooked correctly in one order seemed really overcooked. Went through the whole dinner without anyone bringing anything to drink. anytime we try to speak to the waitress she would turn and walk the other way however we didn't stop another waitress and I really appreciate her helping knowing that it wasn't her table. The manager could tell we looked annoyed and came to ask if we needed anything and we did say thank you we appreciate it but it's supposed to be getting fixed now he said okay and left personally if I was the manager I wanted to know what's the problem was but we did tell him they were supposed to handle it. I didn't want to raise a fuss and I wasn't the one paying for the meal. Sat there forever still no drink no one's eating because everyone is full waiting on drinks boxes in a check forever did flag the manager over he got the box and check for us and I told him I had given up on trying to get something to drink. Now I am not the one paying for the meal I was asked to join but the company I was with is normally an extremely good Tipper. They were so annoyed what's the service that they decided if the waitress was never going to show up they weren't going to get a tip now I did slip some money on the table upon exit and it should have been more but at the same time what did you do to earn it to the waiter and waitress that was not assigned to our table thank you...

It was a busy night, and over the phone we were quoted 60-90 minutes to be seated.
Fortunately for us, we were an hour away.
When we were arrived, the host team of Brooklyn and Marcus greeted me with smiles and even cracked a couple jokes.
I spared them the Dad jokes.
One thing I said was that I wanted to sit with the best server in the restaurant. It's something that I always ask for. I get the name of the host team members and say, "Now when we're seated, I'm going to mention you by name, and tell the server that YOU said they were the best server in the restaurant".
We laugh and joke, but it also establishes me as a cool, friendly customer. Plus, friendly faces are great for those in customer service.
And you know what's crazy?
I always receive amazing service wherever I go.
Brooklyn quoted me a 45 minute wait for a table. Considering the date on the calendar, this was more than reasonable.
Well, 39 minutes later, our pager started vibrating and flashing.
We were seated with Reanna.
I told her why we were there, and she made sure to pronounce my name properly, and that of my bride.
Well, when she came back with our drinks, she had taken the time to write a card for us, thanking us for choosing them to celebrate our anniversary.
Plus, the manager Tommy came by and said dessert was on him.
Reanna was an All-Star. The restaurant was PACKED, and yet we never felt neglected. She came by, laughed with us, discussed the slang of the day (we have teenagers) and was welcoming, and frankly, quite loving toward us.
The rare porterhouse I ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The knife glided right through the filet portion of the steak and every bite was exquisite, buttery steak goodness.
I've had more expensive steaks in other places, but this was easily a top 5 piece of cow!
All in all, this was a fantastic time here. The restaurant is clean, food is amazing, and staff is exemplary.
When you come here,...
Read moreWent to Longhorn in Frankfort, KY. First they told us that the pager would reach through the parking lot. Had to go inside to see why it was taking so long. Apparently our pager didn’t reach. Ordered our food. We went a long time without seeing our waitress. We needed Refills on our drinks. Finally we had to get another waitress to see if she could get our waitress. She finally came back and apologized that she had to take care of a lady’s payment. My mother wanted a coke instead of a margarita, So she asked if her to bring her one. Waitress disappeared again but finally brought our refills but didn’t bring my mothers. Had to remind her again to get it. FINALLY, then came our salads. Waitress said our food was taking a little bit longer than usual but shouldn’t be to much longer. Waited a good while then noticed the booth behind us had sat down way after we had and had already received their food. Told them we want a manager to speak with. They said it would be a few minutes for him to be over. By that time we was fed up with waiting for everything, went to the front to offer to Pay our salads and drinks when manager comes out. This man was very unprofessional and was arguing with us that our meal was just put in 23 minutes ago and that wasn’t a bad time. Tried to explain that we had been sitting there much longer than that and asked when our waitress put the order in. Told us that he couldn’t tell us that because he doesn’t know. He kept trying to argue with us about the whole thing. We will never be back to ANY longhorn or will never recommend it. Horrible experience with horrible manager that needs to be fired for...
