The people working there are always pleasant and for that I'm greatful. They have cleaned it up from what I've seen too. That being said, theatre 6 is a rip-off. The speakers haven't worked right in at least a year. The sound of previews is especially messed up and the background sounds and music of the movie are so faint that you can't hear them. The screen jumped down right before the movie started and was never corrected. I asked the workers to adjust the screen half an hour into the movie. I know there is supposed to be a blank space at the top due to the old broken curtains that are supposed to lift up and down, but there was still extra space below that. And, the door to our theatre and the one next to it wasn't closed until at least halfway through the film. After talking to them a second time after the movie was over, they apologized but offered no solutions or corrections. I've continued to give this struggling theatre my business over the years bc it's the only one in town, but it still isn't hitting the mark. The 2 main theatres are still okay, but the small ones just aren't...
Read moreI've been going to this theater since college. It's not as updated as your big chain theaters, but it's small and convenient, in town and much cheaper. Free refills on popcorn and fountain drinks. So, there's a trade off there.
Unfortunately, they've stopped using the ticket window and everything is now purchased at the concessions. Casualty if covid I'm sure. If you aren't buying food, you still have to wait in the line. That being said, leave extra early because you may have to wait in line unnecessarily. They may be understaffed. I'm not sure, but it is very inconvenient. I'm patient these days and try to just roll with the punches but I was behind a lady that was losing her mind over it about a month ago. I still like the place and will continue being a patron. As I'm sure many have said, some updated seating would be nice but it is what it is. I'm glad they survived...
Read moreThis is an older/smaller movie theater and it almost didnt look like a theater from the outside. There didnt appear to be a ton of parking around the building. This place was affordable compared to most movie theaters and had a decent amount snacks and everything. The mens bathroom was tight as I dont know how people could get around you when using the urinals. The inside of the theater room seemed fine with decent seating and lighting before the movie started. It quickly became apparent though that they have sound issues, not sure if that is speakers out, volume settings, or what. Volume from the front was fine but you could barely hear any surround sounds which was annoying. Fortunately, it wasn’t an action movie that would have been ruined without good surround sound. I would be hesitant to return without knowing this...
