pOpshelf — Local services in Frankfort

Have you ever wondered what Dollar General would be like if they cleaned it up and hired enough staff so that they didn't have to leave stock carts in the aisles? If so, pOpshelf is your answer. So while I don't think this obvious attempt at rebranding is particularly necessary given the numerous existing Dollar General stores and employees out there that deserve a chance to shine, I did enjoy my first experience with pOpshelf. This location was well organized, had lots of nice but affordable products, and you can't ask for much more from this...

I was pleasantly surprised at all the deals and the large selection. I didn't see anything that I felt was priced too high. If it didn't seem like this amazing deal, it was at least comparable to the prices at other stores. The most expensive item I found was $25. I would say 90% of everything in the store is mostly $5 & $10, or less. Great face masks for a $1. Lots of name brands for cleaning, skincare, hair & foods. Great store to decorate your home and your parties. The staff was nice and the store had a fun vibe. Easy breezy...

My fiancé and I decided to go in and grab a few things while waiting for my order at Kroger. As soon as we walked in the door, I felt like every employee in the place was looking at us weird. There was one or another following us the entire time we were in the store, they never asked if we needed help or if there was anything in particular they could help us find....a couple of the girls even stood 1 isle over and talked about us loudly and said they knew we would try to steal something....
