This 3 star rating is for food and customer service only. In short, the food and customer service was good. The restaurant appearance in customer's area was a mess.
Due to the pandemic (February 2021) no eat-in dining, but pickup and delivery options were available. Over the phone, the employee sounded impatient or rushed. This was annoying to us, since we were unfamiliar with the menu, but had an idea of what we wanted to order. However, they were professional and courteous when we arrived for our pickup order.
Free parking available.
Based on the restaurant's appearance, I have no desire to do indoor dining at this restaurant. However, if in the area again I would consider order for pick-up.
Negative: Appearance - The customer area was a disorganized mess, but not dirty. They had makeshift cheap plastic b/w employees and customers, which was also a mess...they can and should do better. If I included the appearance as part of the rating, I would give the restaurant an...
Read moreI'm writing my review after being here twice. Our first time here, we ordered one kung pao chicken and two szechuan pork, with spring rolls and one soup. We really liked it! The spring rolls were great, but the soup was better in our experience. Not too starchy, has enough solids, and all around very good. I recommend picking the soup for the lunch or dinner combos because it's quite good. Second time around, we ordered the spare rib, hot and spicy pork, general tso's chicken, and chicken lo mein. The food was awesome - again. Spare ribs were a little bit dry on sauce but the taste was there. The meat itself was also well cooked - a genuine surprise, as spare ribs from Chinese takeout has rarely been a good experience for me.
Decent prices too. Sure, it's takeout food, but it's still well-made and good value for your money. I hope this restaurant keeps up the good work. We'll be back...
Read moreMoved to East Coast over 2 years ago to help with my New Born, now Toddler, Grandson as Mom & Dad got established. And I would feel Really Bad if I didn't leave a review for this Fantastic Restaurant I frequented and Enjoyed often.
Quality of the ingredients has been very good and fresh. The food had a lighter taste (better quality oil?) than what I normally get at home in the midwest.
It's not the Newer Type Menu Items seen in the Newer Chinese Restaurants, but more the traditional (Mom & Dad era restaurant) style cooking - guilty of being from that era.
Each Chinese Restaurant has 1 dish that just stands out for me. Here, it is the Orange Beef which I get with Pork Fried Rice instead of White Rice. And some days they Spice it just a little more than usual ... And it's So Good.
More traditional dishes, Really Good Ingredients and Preparation ... If you like Chinese...
