We have been coming to this place regularly (sometimes twice a month). We love the ghee idli from here. Lately, the staff has changed and the 2 girls at the reception are rude and not plesent. They messed up our order and when we spoke up, instead of taking accountability, they make you feel like you're the problem. We ordered the special chilli onion dhosa for a friend visiting from out of town. It came without the onions. We asked for a new dhosa but the lady was very persistent that she can bring the raw onions ... We again asked for the new dhosa ..... Later her colleague brought raw onions in a container and walked away. We were confused. We waited few mins and ate the dhosa thinking the new one is coming and they didn't take the wrong order back. We raised a concern after 10 mins. The waiter told us "you ate the old one".... Ummm excuse me, you should have taken it back when we were telling you this is not what we ordered. Instead of taking the accountability, she blamed it on us. I had to raise my voice to make her listen that this is not my fault. You brought the wrong order. We r just asking for what we ordered. I understand people make mistake but she was the one giving attitude.

We also offered to pay for the wrong dhosa, just bring us the dhosa we ordered the first time.

The owner was nice, he listened and quickly asked her to bring what we originally ordered.

Our last visit was very disappointing. Old Staff was friendly. We've never had an issue before this. I have always over tipped, but not this time. Quick...

Was near south brunswick area and was craving for a dosa.. Googled and found this place. first time visit..

Photos in the LED screen looked tempting.. I ordered a onion chilli oothappam. price was OK.. it was about 8.99 for oothappam.. Few other restaurants charge 10+$ for the same. Size of oothappam was good.. generally oothappam is slightly sour (pulippu) but this one was like, it was from dosa batter. No complaints though.. i liked it. sambar was like "bachelor sambar" .. normal sambar. white chutney wasnt good.. kaaram chutney was good.. BEST was the ginger chutney ... it was just amazing..

Next came the DISASTER.. BONDAAAA !!! Normally there will be some oil in bonda, but in our case, there was a small bonda amidst "Ocean of OIL".. tasted too bad.. we kept taking off the oil using paper, but it kept coming. we told about this to the guy who was serving, and he didnt even care. I asked him to get the chef, and i wanted to let the Chef know, but the guy said - "Chef said bonda is always Oily".. haha.. joke of the year.. check the amount of OIL in my pics.. they didnt even apologize and took the whole money.

I wanted to give 2 stars, but luckily the dosa was decent enough to give them a 3 star.. Service should get better.. overall a very...

This was an accidental find! Stopped by for a quick idly vada sambar and was blown away by how authentic the samar was (not like the watered down and tasteless version at most south Indianrestaurants). The idly were fresh and soft, and the vada was nice and crisp....just how it should be! Unbeknownst to me, the place closes at 2:30pm for lunch, and that's when I got there. The very kind hostess still accommodated me and went out of her way to bring me an extra idly and sambar. The prices on the menu are very reasonable as well. It's a no frills, simple sit down restaurant and absolutely clean. I highly recommend this place and will surely be a...

Passed this restaurant many times and finally got the chance to eat here for a quick lunch. If you’re looking for a family type of setting, with good honest food, and reasonable prices, then I’d recommend it. We got the medu vadu, and the batter had a bit too much oil on it. Overall the taste was good but needed a little bit extra salt. The sambar and chutney was tasty and had the perfect about of heat that complimented the vadu. Definitely check this place out for eating authentic Indian food.

This is a South Indian restaurant that you can visit regularly. Awesome place at great prices. Dosas are light and tasty, just like everything else. Idlis are fluffy (I don’t even like Idlis that much) and the sambar would be to return for. Big chains should be ashamed at how unhealthy they have made everything compared to a local family business, that we need to support more. Keep it up and see you soon! P.S. I would ask for a stronger coffee if you want one.
