Keep things simple and delectable. This is the best way for me to describe Chaska, a burger joint in the "Indian" area of New Jersey area. Located amongst a few other plazas with plenty of Indian heritage and brands to match, from fashion to food, you can get it all. Upon recommendation, we visited this corner unit of Chaska and it was not to disappoint. I ordered a lamb burger well done with level two (medium as they call it) hot sauce and a dash of jalapenos. It was layered beautifully with the lettuce, patty, tomatoes, fresh slice of onion and marinate topped with jalapenos. As you remove the toothpick and place pressure on the bun, the marinate oozes out with a touch of drama as you sink your teeth into a juicy bite of delicious flavour. Unlike the commercially available brands, there was a freshness and wholesomeness to the taste. For the kids we ordered a side of fries which was regular to taste. The interiors had a nice vibe with red chairs and black across the board. Interestingly there was Arabic signage as well, so unsure of the mix ke heritage, but lovely to see! All in all, a good experience and if you are looking for good wholesome burgers, and you don't mind eating beef too - I heard from the staff that their Jalapeno Wagyu Smash Burger is the most popular item on their menu!

Having heard a lot about the hype surrounding Chaska, I decided to try it out and ordered the Juicy Lucy Wagyu Beef Burger, loaded fries with smashed beef, mango mojito, and kadak chai. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the buzz. The Juicy Lucy Wagyu Beef Burger was especially disappointing. Both my husband and I found it overhyped; the wagyu didn't have the distinct taste or texture you'd expect—the burger looked juicy but the meat wasn’t particularly soft or juicy like wagyu we had before. We've had better smashed halal burgers in NJ that were more satisfying. The loaded fries with smashed beef were just okay—nothing that stood out. In comparison, Smashville offers much better loaded fries with more flavor and quality. On a positive note, the mango mojito was excellent, refreshing, and definitely a highlight of the meal. But it was served in an aluminum glass which I personally didn’t like much! So, actually Chaska didn’t meet my expectations given the hype. There are other places in NJ offering better smashed burgers and loaded fries.

Used to be my favorite restaurant in New Jersey. Slowly quality has dropped off so much it is now a shadow of its former self. With smaller portions on the fries, not consistent spice levels(usually heat level 2 sometimes have gotten sandwiches and chicken fries so hot I ended up THROWING IT OUT), and changing the recipe of the best burger they have, the jalapeño wagyu burger, I wouldn’t even waste my time here anymore. The hot chicken fries I got today tastes like literal paper and cardboard masked in semi spicy sauce meanwhile my girlfriend got the chicken sandwich and the quality of chicken was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE FRIES 10x better but this is unacceptable. For a 15$ burger with 15$ fries. go anywhere else!!!! I cannot express my dissatisfaction of this establishment over the years. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE you’re basically throwing it in the garbage. EDIT: almost forgot about the amount of disgusting grease on the burger and it was EXTREMELY SALTY, I'm surprised I'm not having a stroke right now.

Title: A Culinary Delight at Chaska Restaurant - A Gastronomic Journey

Introduction: Greetings, food aficionados! Today, I'm thrilled to share my delightful experience at Chaska Restaurant, a hidden gem that has left an indelible mark on my taste buds. From the moment I stepped into the cozy ambiance to the last bite of my delectable meal, Chaska Restaurant proved to be a paradise for discerning foodies seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

Beef Burger - A Taste of Heaven: My culinary escapade began with the Beef Burger, and let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion! The succulent patty was cooked to perfection, boasting a juicy interior with a satisfying outer char. Each bite was a symphony of textures, with the crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and perfectly melted cheese complementing the star of the show – the beef patty. The burger was sandwiched between a fresh, toasted bun that held everything together harmoniously.

Lamb Chops - A Tender Triumph: Next up were the Lamb Chops, and oh boy, these were a tender triumph! The lamb chops were cooked to a delicate tenderness that practically melted in my mouth. The marinade was a carefully curated blend of spices that imparted an aromatic and slightly smoky flavor. With each bite, I savored the mastery of the chef in bringing out the full potential of this dish.

Fish Burger - A Seafood Sensation: Chaska Restaurant continued to impress with their Fish Burger, a seafood sensation that elevated the art of burger-making. The fish fillet was impeccably fried, boasting a crispy exterior that gave way to a moist and flavorful interior. The accompanying toppings and sauces were thoughtfully chosen to complement the fish without overwhelming its natural taste. It was a symposium of sea-inspired flavors that left me craving for more.

Masala Fries - A Taste of Spice and Crisp: The Masala Fries were a revelation, turning a humble side into a star in its own right. These golden sticks of goodness were perfectly seasoned with a blend of spices that added a delightful kick to each bite. The exterior was wonderfully crisp, giving way to a soft and fluffy interior that made every mouthful a joy to savor. These fries were a testament to Chaska Restaurant's dedication to turning even the simplest of dishes into something extraordinary.

Lassi Drink - A Cooling Elixir: To wash down these delectable treats, I indulged in a Lassi drink that was nothing short of refreshing. Creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, the Lassi was a cooling elixir that complemented the array of flavors I had just savored. It served as a delightful contrast to the bold flavors of the main dishes and left me feeling thoroughly satisfied.

Conclusion: In the realm of culinary experiences, Chaska Restaurant has undoubtedly left an impression that will linger in my memory. From the tantalizing Beef Burger to the tender Lamb Chops, and the innovative Fish Burger to the spiced perfection of the Masala Fries, every dish was a testament to the chef's expertise and passion for creating exceptional flavors. And let's not forget the Lassi drink, which added a touch of comfort and satisfaction to the entire meal. If you're seeking an extraordinary dining adventure that marries creativity with taste, Chaska Restaurant should be your next destination....

My family and I love coming here, we’ve been here at least 5-6 times but we noticed that the service just keeps going down. When they first opened, the crew that was there then was so much better and kinder! Went in last night around 9:30pm with a family of 6 and the place was nearly empty, my husband asked if we could combine tables (keep in mind; near the wall so we’re out of the way) because we had a baby car seat with us, and one of the employees said no; and offered us to sit at the bar.. like that makes any sense. I would understand if the seats were going to be occupied) but we were there near closing time so it wasn’t that packed. Anyways, ended up dropping close to $200 on the entire meal, and when my husband asked for extra sauce the same worker tried to charge us the $2 for 3 small cups of sauce. We wouldn’t mind paying for extra sauce if they actually gave us extra sauce rather than giving us 1 pump of sauce in those little cups. When someone drops that much money on your food, how are you gonna ask them to pay more for sauce that isn’t even enough for 6 people 😭. Food tasted kinda bland this time around too, I think they might have changed the sauce recipe, wasn’t spicy like it used to be. It was definitely missing that chaska taste. The owner needs to bring back the original crew or something because I would hate to see this restaurant go downhill. It’s such a nice concept, with a nice atmosphere; has so much potential. They really need to work on hiring better staff in terms of customer service. Customers always deal with the staff first so you want that to be a...

Now my review is obviously based my personal experience when I visited I will say staff was nice there was mishap in the bathroom which they were cleaning up but didn’t do such a great job with the floor after . Was left all wet around the floor of the toilet and under the sink a tad gross . We sat at table close to the counter but had to move because they left the back door open for a while we were sitting there and it was freezing. This is fairly decent sized place with sitting in the front and some towards the back area . You place your order and then they give you a number to put on your table . I truly had high hopes for this place considering all the IG post . And like I said this is my personal experience the food was bland no real unique flavor. I like the descriptions of the food items and they all sounded good .We order the chicken tendies and the use a dry rub powder seasoning on it after frying which tasted like paprika mostly and the breading on it was hard and fell right off the chicken as soon as you cut or bit right into it . No flavor unless you dipped it in sauce they give you which tastes like Mac sauce from McDonald’s. I also ordered the smash burger fries which again tasted like I was eating a deconstructed Big Mac . My husband ordered a stuffed burger which to be honest all I tasted was char from the grill but no actual flavor to the burger. Needless to say I was one and done ! I wish them...
