Stopped by this store and placed a carry out order for their 16 piece family meal. Being late afternoon but before rush hour, the store was not very busy yet. The 16 piece meal was to include 3 large sides and 8 biscuits. Upon arriving home we found the large order of mashed potatoes and gravy missing (the fries and slaw was there) and the box of biscuits contained only 6, not the 8 that we paid for. Being now rush hour and too far to drive to go for fast food potatoes and 2 more biscuits, I decided to contact them online. After going online to their webpage and filling out 5 sections of the complaint form I get to the end only to find that there is no "submit" button. What, no submit button?? It appears that they have you waste your time filling out the form which then there is no way to submit it to them. I next go and try to contact them via the provided telephone number. Once you get to the complaint area, you are routed to and are stuck listening to an endless recording that keeps looping back to the beginning. Another complete waste of time. One last attempt was on their survey page which I completed with the appropriate information and requested that they contact me either by phone or email. Surprise Surprise, they just ignored that as well. Obviously Popeyes management could care less about the customer satisfaction, and the fact that their store rips people off. I had initially assumed that it was an oversight, but after trying to complain and getting nowhere, I am not too sure. It certainly appears that they believe that if they make it difficult enough to complain, you will just go away. Guess what, I will go away and I will never set foot in any Popeyes...
Read moreThis was gonna be 1 start but the chicken sandwich is super good....so its getting 2.
Went there around 11:30 am expecting to be met with a line cause the chicken sandwiches are the new hotness. There was a line as expected. Took 15 minutes for the 8 people in front of me to place their order. When it was my turn to order had to stop the cashier because they put my order in wrong. Got interrupted several times cause numerous orders were wrong and people were coming up and complaining and there were no napkins available for guests. (Which they ended up just handing a guest a handful instead of actually filling the napkin holder).
So I wait around for an additional 15 minutes for my order (2 classic sandwiches, no mayo). Check the order to make sure its right, since I had seen at least half the guests come back up cause their orders were wrong and behold! Mayo smeared all over the place and it was doing that kinda clear thing mayo does when its been hanging out for a while. So it was one of the 30 sandwiches they had hanging out in the heat box (which they could have given me when way sooner than they did).
So I got back up tell them it was wrong, they call back to the kitchen and get 2 new sandwiches made. At this point I'm late from lunch so I jump in my car and head back to work. Get back only to find the 2 new sandwiches they specifically made still had mayo on them.
Edit: They also put the 2 sandwiches I brought back up to the counter back in the hotbox, which I'm pretty sure is a health code violation. So sorry to the person who got the sandwich I ripped apart and crammed back...
Read moreToday, 12/09/19 @ approximately 7:30 I visited the Popeyes location at 4328 W. Broad Street through the drive thru window. My order was for 3 chicken tenders, a small mashed potato w/gravy, and a water. I was told the amount was $6.08. I first questioned why I was being charged tax as there was no soda ordered, and it was obviously to-go. The cashier was handed a Twenty Dollar bill plus 8 cents in change. When she gave me my change, she handed me four dollars in quarters, and two five dollar bills. When I looked at all the change I asked her did she not understand I did not want a bunch of change, her response was she was out of one dollar bills and laughed. I asked for the manager. A caucasian woman bearing a tattoo on her left neck area who would not give me her name came and asked what the problem was. I explained, and she said what do you want? I told her just give me my money back, including the 8 cents in change. She handed me 3 five dollar bills, and at same $4.00 in quarters plus another dollars worth. I asked her to give me my twenty back and my 8 cents. She said money's money, and that's all you are getting. Again the original cashier stood off to the side and continued to laugh. For this reason I am editing my previous 5 Star rating to a 1 Star rating and intend to send this to corporate as well. If you visit this location, I hope you are given the same demeaning service I did. And this location is between two very competitive chains which will be getting...
