Message to my fellow African Americans: Read this review and believe the others. This is THE BEST chicken available in Somerset. The Mac and cheese is similar to our cookout Mac n cheese! The fries are crispy and perfect 🥹 All the way down to their dense but SOFT cookies 🍪 … this place was perfect. Fair prices (hopefully this stays the same), and quality AND QUANTITY! They have the good cuts and prepared them as if it was going to be your last meal on earth 🌍 sauces on these wings were more “finger lickin good”, than KFC could ever be. Popeyes should take note of how to fry their chicken 🤩 This is the 1st place that has ever done chicken better than Jolly Bees, (and I love that gravy!) This chicken was seasoned so well, it didn’t NEED the gravy 😩 Keep this business in business. I want to see them flourish. We NEED to support this valuable luxury in our life. Zander’s Hot Chicken is a must-visit for anyone who loves bold flavors and crispy, juicy chicken. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of perfectly seasoned fried chicken hits you—and it only gets better from there.

The spice levels are spot-on, with options for everyone from mild to seriously hot. I tried the medium heat chicken sandwich and it was phenomenal—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with just the right kick. The slaw and pickles balanced it beautifully, and the brioche bun held everything together perfectly.

The sides were just as impressive. The seasoned fries were hot and crispy, and the mac & cheese was creamy and flavorful. Portions are generous, and everything tasted fresh and homemade.

Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is casual but clean and inviting. You can tell they care about both their food and their customers.

I recently visited Zanders with my family, and it was an awesome experience. The kids absolutely loved the French fries—crispy and perfectly seasoned, they couldn't stop munching on them! For myself, I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Waffle Hot Chicken Sandwich, and both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were spot on, and the heat from the Nashville Hot Chicken was just right for my taste buds.

For the Fried Chicken, I went with a spicy level, and it was perfect—exactly the heat I enjoy. Every bite was delicious! The highlight, though, was definitely the banana pudding. It was hands down the best I’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet.

Also, the chicken pictures on the wall were too much fun! It added such a playful vibe to the place, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. On top of that, I got a 25% discount, which made the meal even better. Highly recommend Zanders for anyone craving delicious comfort food and a great time...
