The other day I was in as this location, as it usually has enough open seating to do work. I was planning on writing my novel here but thankfully was run off. Background. Usually when working at Denny's (24hrs) at night (2 different locations) waitresses usually see me and talk to me. So im used to getting to know the staff. FYI I also haven't come in that often. Yet, what is unusual is the tone and delivery of another employee after seeing the usual barista (maybe 3x) and just attempting to do a quick 5 min chat before I started my work. I usually like to get the familiarity out of the way to work. Due to again, my other experiences of being on a regular workers "turf". There was a very rude blue haired employee. I usually try to be nice and make conversations at the cash register. The blue hair employee was at register. I had a ton of extra quarters on me and asked "do you guys need extra quarters" and the answer was fine. (trust me im a writer I work with emotions and psychology on top of criminality tones due to prior career in cybersecurity and fraud investigations). The issue was the tone and delivery. Very rude and inconsiderate, especially when paid to be considerate even at a low wage. So i paid using extra quarters I wanted to use up. I shrugged it off because I dont have to let others affect my day. The issue was this employee again not with the answer for the other employee when asking if I could talk to the other employee I've usually seen. Again, im not there multiple times a week, and I want to get the chit chat out the way. It was the tone and delivery with anger. Then, when the blue haired employee was wiping tables down, I felt anger and hate aura like "stay away". Which is fine to want to be left alone I didnt attempt to talk. It was the demeanor which was an indicator I'm not working in a great element when the employees look like they go home and shoot up drugs and dont value work. Thankfully I understand the assignment and am getting a membership at a co-working space. There was no point in having a response to these people in the moment I was around them. It was better for me to respond on a review where others can see that even if they've never left a review about the bad service. It's usually the same employees exhibiting a pattern for bad service. Consider installing Miso robotics sippy to replace...
Read moreEntered this establishment SO excited but ultimately ended up SO let down. Entire experience took over an hour to receive two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches.
I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by repeatedly telling myself “it’s a new store, of course they will have to work out some kinks.” But by the end of my experience it was clear that their problems were bigger than that.
My drink was made incorrectly. My sandwiches did not have any meat on them after explicitly talking to the manager making sure they had some. Maybe this would not have been such a big problem but after an hour of waiting, it becomes one.
During this entire time people started walking out of the store before ordering and having to get up to speak to the workers because their orders had gotten lost among the mayhem going on. Sometimes the workers would stand behind the counter looking lost and not doing anything even though there were 10 orders that needed to be made.
There was no organization, no management, no clear communication, and horrible customer service.
I hope this place can figure out their issues. Will not...
Read moreFirst time here. It’s a relatively new location, part of an outlot near Target and Pick ’n Save. Outside are a couple of café tables, while inside offers seating for small groups and a pair of stuffed chairs along one counter. The space is bright, with colorful walls and modern flooring.
There were a few other small groups when I arrived. I received a friendly smile at the counter and ordered a London Fog Tea Latte. It’s not on the menu, but they can make a variation of the “Hot Cream Earl Grey Tea Latte” with vanilla and lavender added. Unfortunately, they didn’t have lavender syrup. Drinks are served only in paper cups, with no ceramic option. Pastry selection was limited — no scones or danish — so I ordered a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin.
After a short wait my order was ready. The tea latte was extremely hot and needed nearly 10 minutes to cool before I could drink it. Once cooled, it was fine, but I really missed the lavender. The Pumpkin Muffin had good flavor but was too sweet for me.
Overall, not the kind of coffee shop I’d normally choose, but a decent stop if you’re just looking for a...
