Third Strike -- I'm done!
Cousins in general has gone downhill over the past few years. The food is good but overpriced. 11 bucks for a 15" Ham & Cheese sub? 15 Bucks for a philly?! Insane!
I went to this location for the third time in the past few months and once again had a horrible experience. I ordered a whole Meatball combo and sat down. 15 minutes went by and I thought I heard someone say they were out of meatballs. The guy with a fairly large order in front of me got his order and left. Another 10 or so minutes go by and one of the guys behind the counter asks what I ordered. I said Meatball and everyone had a look of disgust. "We're out of meatballs" was all I heard. I opted for a philly instead since I had been waiting almost 30 minutes before anyone said anything!
How do you run out of meatballs at 5 in the afternoon?! The place is staffed by younger folks, most of whom have 0 Customer service. One last walked past and went "Sorry again" as she ran past -- I barely heard her.
Not impressed at all, especially considering how expensive everything has become and how slow the service is. I'll stick with Subway from now on OR the Waterford Cousins that usually has a 2-3 minute turnaround when you place an order.
This place is horrible -- there are better locations around! This place needs a manager on call in the afternoons -- if one is present, its time for a new one as orders are...
Read moreWe have come here plenty of times before. Usually without an issue. The staff is friendly and usually do a good job with our orders. Tonight was the first time that I can remember we had a problem. My wife and I ordered a whole ham and cheese, no tomato, no onion, just mayo, lettuce and herbs. We also ordered a half chicken cheddar deluxe with no tomato or onion. We took the subs home and when we went to eat our subs we looked and the lettuce on both subs was brown. We were both disgusted and I decided to return both subs. I drove back to cousins and when I got back I informed them that I would like to have new subs made since the lettuce was brown on our subs and have our money refunded because I felt that this was unacceptable. The assistant manager came over, I wish I had gotten her name, and said without hesitation that is no problem and she was sorry for the inconvenience. She also informed me that it would take a little bit to remake the subs and refunded my money and offered me a drink. I would give the assistant manager at least four stars because she handled it so well. The subs that they remade us were perfect. The employees may have screwed up tonight but the assistant manager and the other employee who helped her righted their wrong and kept...
Read moreCall in to place a pick up order. The guy didn't know how to have me pay over the phone at first, got it figured out, no big deal. Then 15 minutes later showed up for my order. Said it was still going to be a "while". Another 10 minutes goes by they then ask me if I've been helped!!?? At that moment they find my ticket and tell me it has not even been made yet...... what an absolute waste of 45 minutes. Almost no one in the store during this fiasco. Just when you think it doesn't get any worse than that. Get home to find they left everything on the subs. What's the point of asking to keep toppings off?
Literally avoiding this place at all costs in the future. Manager...
