Decided to try the new Biscuit Love in Berry Farms (Franklin, TN) this morning. Ordered an egg plate (with bacon and potatoes), small orange juice, and (lukewarm) coffee, which was delivered to my table by a non-friendly (and pissed off looking) waiter. Was charged $21.00 (and change) for COLD bacon, BURNT potatoes (obviously cooked previously and left sitting until someone was freed up enough for a dumpster run), a COLD biscuit, and so-called "freshly squeezed" orange juice that tasted syrupy. REALLY? Further adding insult to injury, I NEVER saw a waiter again to ask for butter and ketchup that I should been offered the first go around (finally tracked someone down coming out of the kitchen/dishwashing area to ask for the condiments).
My impression of the highly-touted Biscuit Love? VERY BAD! This was, hands down, one of the most STUPID spending decisions I've ever made. Don't be fooled by the fancy exterior building decor, bright interior colors, or numerous cool SWAG items available for "over priced" purchase on the inside. Trust me.... you'll be better off (and happier) going to Waffle House, Chick-fil-A, McDonald's, or Sonic (even Krystal for that matter) for a MUCH better breakfast, and at a FRACTION of the cost! You'll agree and want to thank me later with a cup of coffee from all the extra $$$$ in...
Read moreSuch an amazing breakfast place! Highly recommended to anybody looking for good breakfast. We live in Spring Hill, TN and visited the Berry Farms location. This being the newest location, it wasn’t too busy but also wasn’t empty. You walk-in and order right away, then you seat yourself and they bring you your drinks and the food. The service was super efficient and the food came out relatively quickly. We ordered the French toast, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich w fried egg, the egg benedict, and the chicken and waffles. Everything was sooooooo good. The biscuits were so nice and fresh and FLUFFY! All the chicken was dark meat and HUGE! Plus it real chicken, not a chicken patty and it was a pleasant surprise. The Nashville hot had some heat but wasn’t overpowered. Me and the wife will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Oh, and don’t forget to order yourself some coffee, we tried the shaken brown sugar oat-milk latte and it...
Read moreWe stopped here for brunch on our way home from a vacation in Florida. We were greeted with kind and helpful service as soon as we stepped foot into Biscuit Love. As soon as you walk in, you are able to order, then be seated. If you need more time to think about your order, you can grab menus, sit down and decide what you’d like, then come back and order at the counter. We placed our orders and received our coffees quickly, followed shortly by our food. The food exceeded all my expectations in flavor and quality of ingredients. The potatoes were phenomenal- perfectly crispy with a crunch on the outside and soft inside. The biscuits had tender flaky layers that are to die for. I only wish that they served a bit more jam on the side for the biscuit. Overall the service was a wonderful reflection of southern hospitality and the restaurant was clean and well designed. This goes down as one of my top 3 brunch experiences...
