Benchmark Sports Pub + Eatery — Restaurant in Franklin

I usually don’t write reviews but today hit a special benchmark for me. A lot of people I know have ordered and was not too thrilled about the food. The atmosphere was great staff was fine .. Today I ordered the black bean burger with sweet potato fries. Why ? Because everyone at work had complained about everything else on the menu except the salads. Everyone loves the salads here . I did a Togo order for my lunch. The black bean burger was pretty bad consistency / taste . I could not get a bite all the way into it before it would mush and separate. The sweet potato fries had a great seasoning on them very unique. The problem was they were on the cusp of being burned and they were cold.. This could have been my fault it was a Togo order so I wouldn’t harp on the temp really. But even all that isn’t my biggest gripe.. The biggest gripe is I paid 15.00 and some change for this meal.. A 15 dollar burger should be fabulous... Not unsatisfactory. Everyone loves the salads here that has been the universal response.. Maybe they should just be Benchmark...

Just left Benchmark after a revolting experience. At the bottom of my glass of iced tea was a press on nail 🤮. When I called the waitress over she was in shock, grabbed the glass and brought it behind the bar and showed another waitress and they giggled behind the bar as they looked at their hands. The waitress promptly dumped the glass, and walked back over to me with a new glass of iced tea. I told her that she should go get the manager. She walked behind the bar, spoke to the bartender, some more giggling. And then the bartender walked over, I guess she plays manager on Wednesdays too. The bartender then apologized with “things happen, I will talk to the big boss, we don’t have a policy on fake nails.” In shock and disgusted, I waited for my 5 year old to finish his meal, and when the check came not even the iced tea with the nail was taken off the bill. Patronizing an establishment that doesn’t take hygiene seriously will get people sick. My family...

the Family decided this would be a good place to land on St. Patrick’s. I mean, pub and St. Pat’s, how can it go wrong? Oh,Everything. First, there was no one sitting at the tables, just about 9 people at the bar. I thought this is a good sign. We can get food and drinks quick and get out before a dinner rush. No. The bartender took our order and then he spent the entire time actively trying to avoid us until his sever rushed in late for her shift. She didn’t made contact with us either. She did however manage to rush her, her friend, and her sons order ahead of everyone and everything. That was a nice touch. We got our food, bartender forgot our shots (and we didn’t get them period) you know being “slammed” with the 9 casual patrons at the bar. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. If you wonder about the food; my “fish and chips” managed to to be burnt yet cold without any fish to be found.The rest of the family ate around what they could. Husband...
