Chili's is my stop to go to to sit at the bar. Enjoy a presidente and some mexican egg rolls. I arrived here at approximately 1o'clock in the afternoon and was greeted by the hostess (due to not getting her name she had bright red hair). I asked her if I could sit at the bar as I was only getting an appetizer and a drink. I waited at the bar, mind you there were maybe five customers in the building, for approximately 5 to 7minutes without acknowledgment, without seeing any staff, no one. Upon looking around, I saw the hostess and asked if there was a bartender around. She stated, she's coming. So, I waited some more and finally someone waits on me. The bartender was attentive while I was there and took care of me as expected. I paid my bill at the kiosk that is provided thruout the restaurant and gathered my things to leave. Again, remember, I am but of the five customers in the entire restaurant. As I head to the door and the hostess is at the front desk, she turns and walks away from me. No thx, thx for coming in, not have a good and or bad day, nothing. Now, am I expecting a bit much, I don't think so. The job of a hostess is to host the people who dine. Acknowledge me, make it a courtesy that if you see I sitting at the bar for minutes on end, let me know you got things covered and that I am not just sitting being ignored which is exactly how I felt. Extremely poor customer service on the hostesses behalf. Do better or train them better but she I obviously not cut out for the customer service expected in the position she is working. She is doing Chili's zero favors. I will not come back to this location again as i can't even imagine how it must be shld they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo we came on a Tuesday. A day kids meals are $0.99. It was busy but not packed. My youngest son is autistic and prompt service helps keep him calm once drinks and food gets to the table. After waiting approximately 15 min our waitress came over all frazzled. We told her we were ready to order drinks and food. She took our order. About 8 minutes later she brings our adult beverages before the kids drinks. Iām sorry thatās the second major mistake of the night. Anyone who is worth their wait in salt in this industry knows that you take care of the kids first before the adults. Then we ask her about the kids drinks. She says she has them ready and will be right back. Now there are 4 kids and 2 adults. There is this thing in the industry called a tray. You use it to put numerous items on to deliver to the table. Instead the waitress stacks the drinks and delivers them holding down with her chin. At this point we have serious doubts about food safety training at this restaurant. At this point we decided to leave. We had not touched our drinks. I proceeded to take the kids to the car while my wife asked for a manager 5 minutes later a āmanagerā comes to my wife with a bill for the drinks. He says we owe him $15 for the drinks we did not drink. He then asked my wife not to tell his staff about the issue. When she asked what took him so long to come talk to us his reply was that he was changing our bill. Iām sorry. At what point did the customers become the problem for your lack of service and health safety. The manager should have checked on the problem before adjusting our bill. We left with the bill unpaid and as strong distaste for this location and...
Read moreNever had issues with this location before tonight. Waited roughly 10 mins for a server to greet the table. Service was slowing down and the dining room seemed to be emptying out for the evening. Sounded like sections flipped, no big deal. There was probably 6 other diners in the dining room and two couples in the bar area. I ordered fajitas as my entrée. Got my meat, peppers, beans, and cold queso dip. Took 10 more minutes to get my tortillas, which I would deem a very crucial part of the fajitas. This whole time, I am listening to staff play around, witness them standing in corners of the restaurant and at tables..... swearing at each other, hitting co workers with towels, staring at their phones watching videos. When the server came around to check how things were and to offer refills. I asked her if I could get my tortillas as well. Big old smirk across her face. The so called "manager" stopped by the table after the server turned the corner and audibly said "ohh they're still here" Nothing but excuses from this "manager" "Ohhh your server has other tables in another section. "Ohh the kitchen was goofing around" No Apology. No attempt to make anything better. Nothing but a blank stare and a sour attitude. Lets not forget to mention that she was sitting at the table with the other employees. Two of which were off the clock and in street clothes. This situation would be understandable if the restaurant was busy.... but when I can see the kitchen crew flipping pans and scrubbing counters, that's an issue. And as a fellow industry worker, not a good look.... Avoid this place when its slow, they couldn't give a crap...
