Came in to return a rented Rug Doctor at 5:10pm. Nobody is at the desk so we ask a nearby worker if they can help or get someone who can help, he says yes and then walks away to go help someone else with loading something, understandable. 5 or 10 minutes pass with no workers showing up to help so I go and ask another worker, he says he'll call somebody to come help. Either he didn't call anyone or whoever he called didn't bother to listen because we waited another 10 minutes, at this point there's another man standing there waiting with us, who also went to go ask for help just to get ignored too. My friend then goes and tries to get help, we've now talked to 4 different people and still nobody comes. It's now 5:40pm and another worker walks by, my friend stops her and tells her to call someone right now in front of us, just as she's calling, 2 workers just appear out of nowhere and say they can help, one of them isn't even wearing anything that can distinct them as a worker. I'm assuming they decided to take their breaks at the same time and leave nobody to watch the rental counter which is extremely irresponsible and unprofessional especially when they have no "assistance" button to call for a worker yourself. We finally manage to return our vacuum at 5:45pm, 35 minutes after we initially got to the counter. There is no reason someone should have to wait this long especially when there's multiple workers just standing around doing nothing. The guy also waiting there with us only gets the help he needs after the 2nd worker has been standing there for 2 min staring into space not offering to help or anything. There needs to be a lot of changes in the lack of communication throughout their entire store, we should not have to ask 5 people and wait 35 minutes just to return a damn vacuum, that's ridiculous. The only 2 people working a desk should not take brakes at the same time especially when there's no call button and the rest of the workers don't seem to be competent enough to find the right person to help. If you're looking to rent tools I would not reccomend doing it at...
Read moreI recently ordered a Weber grill for customer pick up today.
I ordered at 9am, was ready at 10am, and went to pick it up around 6pm. So I went to the customer service counter and was “helped” by a very distracted woman working the counter and was instructed to move my car to the pickup awning area and ask for assistance there. Upon arrival, a worker was very confused and was looking around for a grill for me, and didn’t seem to know what he was doing or looking for. I was then told to go BACK to the customer service counter and ask them again. I go to talk to the same woman who seemed confused. She then looked again at the receipt that SHE printed me earlier, and saw it might be in the garden area. Another 5 minutes go by while she calls people to see if they can find it, they say they cannot locate it. I decide to give up and go look myself as I’m getting absolutely horrific assistance. Lo and behold I find the grill in the aisle by myself and wheel it myself out to my own car (which I moved back to the customer service area again after being given incorrect instructions). I get help from a kind customer walking into the store to lift it into my truck. I then notice that the grill is missing pins on the lid when it was assembled by the associates. I then go back in and find a new one in box, again, by myself. I ask a young associate to give us that grill and we’ll bring the “assembled” one back in. He grabs a couple friends and they helped me more in 2 minutes than I got in the 45+ minutes prior. I cannot express enough how awful the experience was. I’ll likely never order anything for pickup there ever again, if even buy anything from Home Depot again after this debacle. Which is really a shame because it was my go to, but since there is a Lowe’s a half mile away and a Menards basically across the street, it’s not going to be much of an inconvenience. Truly, ridiculously annoyed, frustrated, and...
Read moreHorrible Horrible Horrible Customer Service!!!!! We ordered 4 appliance on 11/24/24 and were told our delivery was going to be the following Saturday, 11-30-24 and we would get a text from the delivery company with a 4 hour window (apparently HD doesn't do there own deliveries anymore). We never received our 4 hour window and the delivery company called and said their drivers had COVID. Upon calling HD Customer service, they said the delivery company reported their truck broke down and we would be rescheduled for Monday 12-2-24. Well guess what, they never showed up. We were tiold the delivery company was short handed. We were then told we get delivery today, but that has been cancelled too. I called HD Customer Service again and now nobody can help and when I told them I was going to cancel my order they simply said I'll switch you to the store so you cancel!! No help at all!!! I missed a day of work and now learn that we won't get the appliances until Saturday the 7th. We had a family gathering that we'll have to cancel, our refrigerator is broken, our food is in our garage (luckily its December in Wisconsin) HD Customer Service is not helping at all!!! Have asked for escalation and a manager, was told the manager was in a meeting and would call back.....I have not received any calls. I would think twice about ordering anything from HD and having it delivered. Their customer service has not been helpful at all and seemed just fine with us canceling our order.......too big to care!!!! We have been lied to 3 times by there delivery company and nobody at HD could care less.
UPDATE* I filled out the form, two days now.....no call and never received a call back from Amy the manager who was supposed to call me back. You post a response and don't have the integrity to follow through. Too big to care and cared less if...
