Fantastic BBQ Experience at Edley's BBQ - A Must-Visit in Berry Farms Franklin! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Edley's BBQ again in Berry Farms Franklin our team's exhilarating win at the Wrestling Dual State Championships. Let me start by saying that the entire experience was absolutely fantastic! First and foremost, the food at Eddy's BBQ was outstanding. The brisket, which is often the benchmark for any BBQ joint, exceeded all expectations. It was moist, tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a delight, and it truly showcased the mastery of the pitmasters at Eddy's BBQ. The wings were another highlight of our meal. They were simply awesome, just as I remembered from previous visits. The perfect combination of crispy skin and juicy meat made them a true treat for the taste buds. Whether you prefer them smothered in sauce or enjoyed plain, Eddy's BBQ knows how to deliver wings that will leave you wanting more. Not only were the meats exceptional, but the sides were equally impressive during this visit. From the classic mac and cheese to the tangy coleslaw, potato salad, and fries, every side dish complemented the main course perfectly. The staff at Edley's BBQ deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. Their passion for BBQ and dedication to customer satisfaction truly shone through. The atmosphere at Eddy's BBQ is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal after a long day. The rustic decor and comfortable seating create a welcoming ambiance that adds to the overall charm of the restaurant. If you find yourself in the Berry Farms Franklin area, a visit to Eddy's BBQ is an absolute must. Whether you're a BBQ enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, this place will not disappoint. With mouthwatering brisket, incredible wings, delectable sides, and an amazing staff, Eddy's BBQ has truly earned its reputation as a top-notch BBQ joint. I cannot recommend Eddy's BBQ enough. It's the perfect place to celebrate victories, enjoy great food, and create lasting memories.

As much as I hate giving a one-star review, I can't bring myself to come up with any higher than that. Everything from the food to the cleanliness was subpar. The alleged hot chicken (which should be named something else because calling it Nashville Hot Chicken is offensive) is more like cracker barrel chicken with some cayenne pepper sprinkled on it but overcooked and dry. The cornbread should be in the garbage because I've never had something so dry and crumbly in my life (it was also burnt on the bottom). Born and raised in the south, I've never had cornbread this bad. Also tried the smashburger, I can think of a million places with a cheaper better burger that actually has some flavor. The sauce on the burger was actually pretty good but everything else was pretty flavorless. The fries however were pretty good. The icing on the cake of the visit was the fact that it was a 40-minute wait to get our food after ordering, which came out barely above room temperature. We actually had to clean our own table to get a place to sit. There was no ice in the ice maker and it looked like someone had spilled tea and drinks around the drink area and not a single attempt was made to clean that up. The staff seemed like they couldn't care less that anyone was there. I want to note that this review is very specific to this location. I've been to other edley's locations and they are fantastic, hats off to them. I can say I will never return to this location though.

This place was so great, I stopped here twice on a four-day trip to Franklin. The first day was just to try it out, and I had brisket and sausage. Then I went back for dinner to try the ribs (and I wanted brisket again, but they were out). The sauce is good, the Mac and cheese was fine, green beans were good. The banana pudding was pretty good, too. But the stars of the show are the meats (and the service). The ribs were so tender, not only did they fall off the bone, but they fell off the rest of the rib meat. It was great. The sausage was good, maybe a jalapeño cheddar sausage? I'm not sure. The brisket was great on the first trip, too, better than the sausage. I wish they'd had it the second time, but the sausage wasn't bad. As I said in the parenthetical, the service was outstanding, too. I ordered at the counter both times, but they bring your food to you and clear up the tables after, but they check on you throughout. The manager was also ever present walking tables and checking in with folks. It was great to see. I'll definitely be back.

Lord we wanted to love this place. We live close by and watched it being built in anticipation. I don’t know if there is a secret to being able to get the food you want and in a timely manner, but we haven’t found it in the twice we’ve tried. We’ve been once on a Sunday afternoon, and tonight a Monday evening. At the register both times we were greeted with a substantial list of every meat they were out of, which of course was what we were attempting to order. Tonight, Monday night, we sat for over an hour waiting on our food- and we weren’t the only ones. We were extra disheartened when an older couple behind us complained to one of the waitstaff and were brought complimentary sides and then comped their meals; and they had arrived after us! Guess next time we will consider loudly complaining also. Life lessons compliments of Edley’s. Another man waited at the bar for 40 minutes only to finally be told they were out of meat by the pound, the only thing on his order, and their early week advertised special. We couldn’t figure out if they give priority to the drive through, or dining room. We’re guessing drive through because the inside was so incredibly slow. Maybe they could tell people in the beginning when they take your money what kind of wait you can expect so you can make a choice to go elsewhere. We would have liked that choice. It’s a shame because we love the food- maybe one day the Franklin location will get it together? Not sure if we’ll try a third time. Maybe we’ll wait 6 months and try again. To top it off, tonight was our anniversary and our dinner experience cast a cloud. Edleys may not be the obvious first choice for a weeknight anniversary dinner, but we’ve been married 19 years today and...

Oooohwee! Edleys', Edley,s Edley's Bar-B-Que. I've got to say that name a few times as I never want to forget this place! I was working in Spring Hill, TN today and always ask my customer for their local favorite. Edley's Bar-B-Que came up so my colleague and I gave it a try... simply amazing BBQ, and everything that goes with it! I travel almost non-stop for my job so I am fortunate to sample the best BBQ in North America and this ranks in the top ten. The brisket was so tender and had the perfect bark on it. The jalapeno cheddar sausage was crazy delicious as was the vinegar-based (but slightly sweet) coleslaw, the rich baked beans and expert cornbread which was moist but firm. Even their sauce was a knockout. There is also a 'ghost sauce' available but don't let the name scare you off - it was just as amazing as the regular sauce with just a hint of a kick to it.

We met Jaci (pronounced J.C.) who should be elected ambassador for this establishment because she is not only kind and engaging but extremely knowledgeable about Edley's Bar-B-Que products. The hospitality at Edley's is unmatched. Jaci found out that we are 'first-timers' and brought us a sample of their famous banana pudding. Which, by the way, my customer said that he eats first.

A.J. even came out to check on us and it was immediately apparent that he is the Pitmaster. After some conversation about BBQ it came out that he is from Texas... yep, there it is! That's the secret behind that amazing brisket. I can't wait to get back to Edley's to try the turkey and a bunch of their homemade sides.

In all, a stellar dining event! Great food, great people and a really nice place to enjoy some world-class...
