Excellent experience yesterday at Elizabeth's Bagels. Everyone was social distancing wearing gloves and masks they came outside people are standing in line of the pre-orders so that they were already ready when a person got into the building cuz they only allowed six people in the building at a time. Everything was very efficient and right on top of things. They had two people taking orders one person doing Bagels one person doing iced coffee one person doing hot coffee and three or four people in the back making the sandwiches and stuff. Everything went fast and efficient even though there was a line outside many times in the 20 minutes I sat in the parking lot on my truck eating my bagel and cream cheese it went quite fast. I'm definitely looking forward to going back again I have not been able to eat a bagel in a over here through the fact of having surgery on my mouth. And was unable to chew anything that was a bagel consistency but that ended Friday and it was the best bagel I've had in a long time. I had a not toasted cinnamon sugar bagel with homemade bacon cheddar cream cheese. They make all their things in house they must have 12 to 15 different kinds of cheeses they always have half a dozen different kinds of coffee in hot and cold. Even sometimes have like holiday Bagel to have like a red white and blue one or a rainbow one at certain holidays during the year. Looking forward to going again they really got this whole thing down to a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreElizabethās is a nice local business that sells outstanding products. Since Covid they have had to pivot from a small cafe style establishment to a completely takeout, online business. They have also pivoted away from their bagel loyalty card, without notice, and their while bagels last process. And that is exactly why Iām writing my review. As a weekly customer for over 20 years I have spent over $30,000 at Elizabethās. This morning while waiting in line as it became my turn to order the manager came and removed the dozen max bagel sign right as I was ready to order. The women at the counter called back to the manager and asked if a dozen could still be ordered and was told no. I decided to not order less than I actually wanted and walked out as I did not want to reward poor service. A big piece of customer service is communication and reading the situation and these are 2 things that Elizabethās really needs to improve on. What I really donāt understand is why they limit ordersā¦itās extremely inconvenient when you drive all the way there and canāt get what you want when you see it 5 feet away from youā¦running out of product I get. Limiting makes no sense. Iām sure my family will yell at me when I get home and will still go there as they love the bagels. Iām not sure what I will do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to this place regularly for over 10 years. The last few times I have gone here I have been very DISSAPOINTED. Ordered sausage, egg and cheese on a roll. I always get cheddar cheese. For the past 9+ years I have never had an issue. But the last 3 times I have gone there, the cheddar cheese has been practically non-existent. Whereas before the sandwiches were ALWAYS the same, now they have barely any cheese whatsoever on them. And last time when I complained they put literally no cheese at all on the replacement. And the staff all whispers to one another and smirk and look over at me. As if I am some kind of criminal. Their bad behavior is totally outrageous - especially for a customer who has been there over 100 times in the past and I am known by name. Without an apology from the owner - who I have tried to contact through the state and town with no success - My family, friends and I will never be going back. If you also do not want to be treated like an outcast and mocked, I would suggest avoiding this...
