Graff's Tavern — Restaurant in Franklin

It’s a tiny restaurant with a tiny patio behind a gas station. Your better off getting food from the gas station! Had the older woman with glasses as a server and though nice to us, the quality of the service was on par with the quality of the food. Got 2 tavern burgers, one with elk and one with beef with potatoes and Brussel sprouts. $21.50 for elk ‘entree’, $17.50 for other and two oktoberfests. After she placed our menus down told us the server would be right with us (she was server) and didn’t show up again for 4 minutes. After we ordered beers bartender made them immediately and she went and stood right next to them for a good 5 minutes just staring at something else, had to grab for ourselves and they weren’t very cold at that point. Decided to do to go and she only brought us the boxes, no utensils, no bag. Burgers were dry (didn’t bring sauce) potatoes were just GOOP and the elk burger was FISHY and I mean STRONG fish taste, I’ve had elk before this didn’t taste right. Only thing decent were the Brussels. $50 for horrible food, service, and atmosphere. Better off at the gas station...

We were spending a day in Franklin and were planning to find a local place to get lunch at. I found this place on Google Maps and it looked really good. This has a sasquatch theme, and you can see it in its decor and branding. We went in just before lunchtime and were told that we were able to sit anywhere. We sat at a table close to the bar. The atmosphere was really nice. Our server was Eric, who also was taking care of the bar. I ordered the Rise n Shine Burger, which comes with arugula, bacon, fried egg, and american cheese. My partner ordered the mushroom swiss burger. When Eric took our order, he asked if we'd like it pink, and we said yes. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. I love the imprint that they do on the bun. The burger was delicious, and the fries were good too.The burger with the fries was $15. I thought that it was a decent price given the portions we got. I was very full after eating my food. The service was pretty good, too! I would definitely recommend checking this place out, the people were very nice and the food...

This place is amazing! And this review is long over due. The owner Jessie is highly experienced and it shows. I have been there four times since it has changed restaurants and I’m blown away. The servers are attentive and know when to clear the tables, they know when to ask if you need anything, the food comes out hot, fresh, beautiful and delicious. 30 second rule and tables touches are always applied in this serving atmosphere. Jessie isn’t afraid to work side my side with his team either, I’ve seen him roll silverware and sweep with his team. A true leader and the team and energy is happy. This is exactly how restaurants are supposed to run, like a well oiled machine. Will be a repeat customer again and again. Emily and Nate

This is just one meal of local NC trout by the way ! It’s huge so we always share the trout dinner. But other favorites are the burgers, honey garlic shrimp, wings, and the Wednesday special .. ooo baby, we are coming...
