It was a cold December night. The year was 2013. A blizzard greeted us with no remorse. My bestfriend and I were in our 20s sipping on a Sutter Homes 6 pack relaxing in her parents bedroom. (Their bed was what dreams were made of.) Anyways - our stomachs started rumbling, and we wanted nothing more than to eat some tasty chinese food.. Come to find out, Lee's kitchen were the only crazy bastards open during that blizzard. FoReVeR gRaTeFuL. They cheerfully took our order and delivered that food like it was an 80 degree hot summer day. He walked up the steep driveway that was definitely not shoveled (so sorry about all of this by the way guys.) Luckily, we still had the common sense to tip him more than necessary for driving food to two idiots who never should have requested delivery to begin with. Lee's kitchen is not just amazing food yall - but also amazing people. They have a real zest for life. So much so that they selflessly delivered the pork fried rice in record timing. There's a reason we still talk about them after all these years. We love you Lee's kitchen - never change....
Read moreThis food was literally so bad I went out of my way to make a google account just so I could vent. Chinese food is usually pretty decent no matter where you get is. My general sao’s was yellowish and like watery?? The rice looked liked it came from one of those boil in a bag Rice’s you get at a supermarket. It literally all tasted like wet cardboard (not that I’ve ever been privy to gnaw on cardboard of the moist variety but one can only imagine) OH and it was cold. 22$ for the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life and BOY have I had some Chinese food in my day. Sad, disappointing and honestly plain childish to do this bad of a job making a very well known basic meal. I finished the entire thing because damn right I did, I spent hard in money on this steaming garbage but I hated every second of it. Felt like I was on fear factor trying to get the whole thing down. Just...
Read moreWe have been frequenting Lee's for about 6 months now and are resolved: this is our go-to Chinese food place! Now, I was never ever a fan of egg rolls and guess who can't get enough of them now? Spoiler alert: it's me. Their teriyaki (both beef and chicken) are absolutely delicious, the pan fried noodles are never oily, and the lettuce wraps are to die for! Lee's has a good system in place for the New Year's Eve rush and the crowd in there this past year was a testament to the quality of their food. The employees are friendly, welcoming, and just plain wonderful to chat with, whether you're getting delivery or picking up yourself. Awesome place,...
