I usually drive about 30 minutes to get to MOTW because I genuinely enjoy their Yemeni chai — it’s flavorful and comforting, though a bit inconsistent from visit to visit. The price is on the higher side, but for a large cup it still feels reasonable. However, the price difference between small, medium, and large is only 50 cents, which doesn’t make much sense — better pricing distinction would help. One major downside is that they don’t have an app or any way to order ahead, so you have to stand in line to order, and even if you just want a chai, it can take a long time to prepare. Also, they don’t offer cup sleeves, which makes holding hot drinks uncomfortable. On the positive side, they have a prayer room, which aligns nicely with their name and adds a great community touch. What really disappointed me on my last visit was that they started charging 50 cents for small extra cups. These aren’t even coffee cups — just regular small cups. It seems like a petty change that prioritizes a few cents over customer satisfaction. I usually tip around 15%, but I’d rather skip the tip next time to offset that unnecessary charge. Overall, good chai and a peaceful vibe, but the service experience and new policies need improvement.

Stopped by on a Monday early afternoon. There were a couple people scattered in the store. I ordered a strawberry matcha, a decaf biscoff latte and two of their fruit pastries - strawberry and mango. The strawberry matcha is like a strawberry milk with a matcha cold foam. Delicious and refreshing. My decaf biscoff latte was phenomenal. Lots of biscoff flavor and just the right sweetness. The star of the show was the mango fruit pastry. Crunchy, sweet white chocolate with a rich mango gel/purée on the inside with whipped cream and small cake. The strawberry pastry was okay it was less cold and fell apart at first bite. There was more whipped cream on the inside than anything else. Once you got to the strawberry compote it was sweet, but the cake inside was a bit soggy. The inside of the store was beautiful and even has a prayer room! I will be back to try their other pastries that looked so delicious. I want to try the baklava as well. 😊

I am not one to give reviews…not because I don’t experience good service or food/coffee but honestly I just don’t take the time. But my experience yesterday was worth the time it would take to write this. I am a simple coffee order person, but the Iced Americano was delicious! However, the Pistachio Croissant…mind blowing! So good! It seriously changed my entire morning outlook. LOL, if you believe that a pastry item can do that, then you need to go here and check it out. Tons of other pastry items to choose from, lovely ambience, kind and efficient staff…the pistachio croissant…things dreams are made of!

I’m so excited to have discovered Motw Coffee Shop here in Franklin! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the modern yet cozy vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable — you can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience.

I ordered a vanilla oat milk latte, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve had — perfectly balanced and beautifully crafted. They clearly take pride in their coffee, and it shows. My friend tried the Turkish coffee and couldn’t stop raving about the rich flavor and authentic presentation.

The menu has something for everyone, including delicious pastries and light bites that are fresh and flavorful. I also appreciate the inclusive, family-friendly environment — it’s a great place to meet up with friends, get some work done, or just relax with a great cup of coffee.

So happy to have Motw Coffee Shop in our community. Can’t wait to come back — this will definitely be my new go-to spot...
