Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Franklin

Here's my thoughts regarding this establishment and why I rated them 5 starts. I'm labeled by the current society as "a very picky eater" simply because I refuse by choice to eat meat and highly processed food full of trans fats, high fructose corn syrup, and 900+ artificial additives approved by the so-called "FDA". On top of that, I'm naturally allergic to gluten. All that eliminates immediately my admittance to over 95% of food establishments in the USA. In addition, I'm from Europe, so I know what a clean restaurant means. So, here we come to Noodles and Company in Franklin, IN - vegetarian friendly with no artificial additives used and many gluten-free options. Pair this with a spotless environment starting from the entrance, through the restroom all the way you can see to the back. Talking about the kitchen, you can see how the guys cooking the food handle the pans like real chiefs. Once you get your food and taste it, you literally forget about the rest of the 95% of the restaurants. It's not the cheapest food, but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for quality food and clean environment. My health is the biggest investment for me. I've already been several times here with (or without) my girlfriend and we both agree these are the best meals prepared outside of our home. Placed an order online, picked it up and when I got home I realized half my order was missing. 2 sides from the kids meals were missing, drinks from my kids meals, I was missing a salad, and I was also missing chicken from one of my plates which I paid extra for. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager which didn’t seem to care very much but said to come back and she would fix it. I went back and when I was talking to the lady upfront the manager yelled from across the restaurant and not very nice “that’s not what you told me on the phone”. I showed her the receipt and explained to her again the situation.. she then yelled to the staff in the kitchen (2 young kids that didn’t seem to know what they were doing) “don’t take any more orders I need to fix this” and then left everything she was doing and just went to the back. Multiple ppl in the restaurant were very upset saying they waited 40 min for their food. After 10 min of waiting for the manager she came back handed me my receipt and then said “you’ll get a refund for the chicken and the salad” and walked away from me. One of the best places to eat in all of Franklin!! We are so fortunate to have this place. Friendliest service, amazing food, great variety, super clean, modern, fast and delicious. Dining in here is a treat! It’s beyond good!! I am so impressed after eating here how big their menu is and they have so many wonderful side options for kids meals like broccoli and a crispy treat. Food comes out quickly and the portions are the perfect size. We had the nicest service from the staff and my family of 5 left with huge smiles on our faces. They have one of those 100 flavor soda machines, high chairs for littles, high top tables and regular tables and chopsticks and soy sauce if you order Asian noodles. I ordered the Korean noodles and they were so yummy, 10/10 and my husband tried the pesto noodles which I will also give 10/10! We were so full and this place is so kid friendly, clean, exceptional and welcoming to families. Juice boxes and milk for kids meals and the creamiest Mac n cheese!! We can’t wait to come back, it’s our new spot!! I recommend them to everyone....
