Rent-A-Center — Local services in Franklin

Most definitely do not recommend! If I could go negative stars, that's what they'd get rated from me! Extremely poor service by Aaron's and continued to be poor service since taken over by Rent-A-Center. This was my first time ever going to a place like this, and will be my last as well. I stated I did not want payments, made it very clear. I dropped $500 down on a $900 fridge. The next month I called to pay the remaining $400 to be done with it in two months; however, the young and un-experienced girl put it in the system as a payment and only took $100 out. She told me not to pay again until the follow month which pushed out pass the same as cash days (which of course I was never informed of). I told her no, I should be finished and she replied with, "Oops. I can't take another payment right now, so that's the best I can do. Just call next month and ask for my manager and he'll fix it." I called and that was not only a total waste of my time, but put me in a worse spot then I was in with the young girl. The guy was a total idiot, like seriously made me question if i was talking to an animal or a grown adult! He couldn't figure out the computer, words he spoke were unprofessional and he mumbled most of the conversation as if he hoped I'd get irritated and hang up. As it turned out he was the one I gave the initial $500 to, which wrote a receipt on a napkin mind you because they were out of paper! * That should've been my sign then! *

Needless to say I have now paid almost $2000 on a $900 fridge, and dealt with their crap for a solid year, because of the interest and "fees" they charge on their monthly payment services. I've never been late or missed a payment since they forced me into payments! They delivered the fridge and scratched my doors and walls of my house, dented the fridge, and didn't connect the water line for the ice machine or anything. They made zero attempts to make a bad situation into a good one. They put forth no effort. They never made a deduction from the price or offered anything for banging everything up in my house. Never offered to fix anything or try to hook up the fridge and water line, nothing...absolutely nothing!

There were several other things they did poorly but no need to continue describing their horrible business. If you decide to go there, I'm certain you'll see it all for yourself!!

I called the service line, well that is just as worthless as the store staff and managers!

I will go to ANY OTHER PLACE before...

I have been with this location for 12 years , they all have the best attitudes extremely friendly and helpful with many many things. The store manager Brian is very understanding he goes above and beyond his job duties to help his customers. Mike has been there for as long as I can remember being with them and he as well goes above and beyond his job duties to help his customers. Ashley is such a helpful young lady with a wonderful attitude. This staff at this location keeps my business as I have other rent a centers close to me and I will not change locations . The delivery guys are amazing I've never had any issues in the twelve years I've been with them and I will continue my business there. Rent a center should really appreciate this location and knowledge all of their hard work as they achieve alot. I highly recommend them to anyone, you wont find any other location with the amazing staff like them trust...

I work in the RTO business and this place doesn’t follow the legal laws at all. My girlfriend has something here and the same day her payment was due they went to our house THREE times in one day, which is illegal. You can only go to someone’s home ONCE a day. Also, you shouldn’t be going to someone’s home the same day their payment is due. Maybe give them a Friendly reminder call?
