Great Food, Worth the Wait!
Food: High quality food. I’d highly recommend the Lemonade!
Staff/Service: Usually all very kind people! This location in particular, the staff needs to be informed that, they DO IN FACT, have plates and knives for you to request.
Dining In: This location is loud! (So we choose to clumsily eat in our car.) I’ve been to many Cane’s in other states, and this location is by far the smallest, most inconveniently laid out. There aren’t many tables where you will be able to sit where the line of people won’t be right on top of your head/chest/table while they wait in line. The waiting area is difficult compared to other locations, and can block up the drink station. They have run out of napkins and utensils once, out of several times we’ve been to this location.
Bathrooms: are 3 individual stalls and there is usually a line (but clean).
Drive thru: I have not ventured their drive through in the first handful of times so far. However, while sitting across from it, while we eat in our car the last several times, I have noticed that the two drive up lanes, while there are two order taking spots, merge into one lane, to the pay window. Not sure that this will ever not be the case, time will tell I suppose.
Parking: We were blocked into the parking just to be able to leave, due to the configuration of the wrapped around the lot line of cars waiting to get in the ordering line. So my suggestion if you don’t want to wait to leave the lot, is to park somewhere off lot.
Merch: Cute and fun, good quality, but pricey IMO.
Overall: We love Cane’s and we go often, I’d suggest to think through your needs as to which dining experience you opt for. But YES, it IS worth the...
Read moreAnother highly overated chain with mediocre food and high prices. Even though it is fairly new to the area, they could not handle the volume that Chick-fil-A sees everyday. Why have two drive thrus if they simple merge back to one, where there is one pay window and one pickup window. Perhaps do like Chick-fil-A and have people outside taking orders, taking payment, and dispersing orders to keep it flowing. Also, they only have chicken fingers and fries, so they should be throwing orders out quickly but I spent 35 minutes in a drive thru with approximately 25 to 30 cars ahead of me. Thats everyday for Chick-fil-A and I have never spent over 15 minutes in their line. Beyond the poorly designed drive thru and food preparation system, the chicken did not live up to the hype. It was okay at best and really not that much better than Zaxby's. The fries suck, potatoes that are fried with some oil on them and maybe a little salt. The Cane's sauce is Zax's sauce with a little more pepper. I just don't understand the hype for such a mediocre place. If you took this same food and sold it out of an unknown fast food place, it would have 3 stars at best and be just another chicken place but you wouldn't have to wait 30 minutes for mediocre chicken. I would much rather wait at Hattie B's for a thicker and more supple chicken tender, and fries that are actually seasoned, or even fight the crazy crowd at Chick-fil-A because there I can at least get a shake or a variety of chicken options...
Read moreThe food itself is good and usually comes out fast, but the overall experience at this location has gone downhill. I drove 40 minutes round trip today, only to find out they were out of fries. That is literally half the menu. They serve chicken and fries, and somehow they managed to run out of one of those two things. That is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of preparation or basic inventory planning. I ended up wasting nearly 50 minutes just to turn around with half an order.
The dining area is consistently loud, and not in a lively or fun way and also tends to be messy and dirty. Almost every time I have been here, including 7 out of the last 8 visits, it has been packed with loud teenagers yelling across the room like it is a high school cafeteria. It is not just background noise, it is full-blown chaos. It gets so bad that we stopped dining in altogether and only do takeout now just to avoid the headache.
I am also genuinely surprised this location still has a 4.1 rating ( not that a 4.1 is great ). After this many disappointing visits, that number starts to make more sense. This feels like a management problem more than anything else. Running out of core menu items, letting the atmosphere spiral into a disruptive mess, and offering no visible accountability are all signs of poor leadership, not just a one-time slip.
They need to get...
