Starbucks…
Not as dazzling as a star, and not worth any of your bucks.
For people who have allergies, be aware of coming here. Not all Starbucks are like this one, they will accommodate to your needs, (as they should), but this one is truly a rare find.
A simple order, turned into a legally blonde movie moment. However, in the movie, she actually turned out pretty damn smart. Here? They can make Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dune from Dumb and Dumber look like AP genius’s in comparison.
Starbucks is capable of making their drinks without dairy, however, are their workers able too? Well, that answer differs from each and every one you go to.
Not once, at a Starbucks, have I had this issue. It’s always as a simple to handle as a piece of cake. Perhaps, even easier than a stripper.
However, at this Starbucks, their famous line is, “it’s the best we can do.”
If that’s the case, please work somewhere where you are at least qualified. Somewhere that their “work”, or whatever it is that they do, will be useful.
The best they can do, (which really is not that hard), is wash the blender clean, and then make the drink. If that’s too “difficult”, they simply buy an extra blender for these situations.
This Starbucks acts as if they are military men, going to war, that they work so hard, and expect respect. But they aren’t. They simple just make coffee.
Most likely they are working here, either because they didn’t go to college, (learn from this kids), or because they are simply too lazy to find a real job that actually requires real work and time.
I have nothing against Starbucks, in fact, I love it! But this place is not a Starbucks, it’s an INSULT to Starbucks. A simple drink and washing a blender is not rocket science. So let’s not make our job seem more important than it actually is.
God bless y'all hearts, we all know...
Read moreWow! Great job by the baristas at this location!! My wife has a pretty severe medical issue that does not allow her to wear a mask. Many Starbucks locations are inept at handling this situation and are very rude about serving my wife. This location though! They did amazing!!! They listened to her issue, were very kind and empathetic towards her limitations with masks and helped her better than anyone has during this entire pandemic situation! They should literally train others how to handle those that have difficulty with masks but still want to support the local Starbucks locations. In case any Starbucks corporate mask gestapo are reading this, the employees did let her know the policy and then kindly took her order, helped her with a few special requests for our daughter’s birthday party, and then let her know they would be happy to deliver her order outside to her while she waited. They accommodated her and still followed policy, they just weren’t rude about it in any way. Great job to everyone involved!! This definitely needs to be applauded because there has been a LOT of change happening in a short amount of time with policies and such, and not everyone is able to handle the change in the same way. I appreciate the attention and understanding these individuals had to treat my wife like a human being and take care of her as they would have in a normal year. The exact opposite has happened in a few other Starbucks locations, so this deserves a...
Read moreAs others have mentioned, the service is very spotty here, and usually slower than other locations. Not sure what that’s about.
My pet peeve is walking up to a cashier/barista and not being greeted. Last time I went, I wasn’t greeted. Just stared at. I deeply, deeply hate that. Like, I fully get exactly your message—you don’t want to serve me. You’ve decided you don’t like me before we’ve exchanged more than looks. But your job is to greet me, and even if you aren’t super enthused about doing it—well, we all have jobs we don’t love 100% of the time. But most of us try to prioritize the client-facing aspect of it, because most of us have learned that when you treat people well, they usually respond in kind. And it’s not my fault if humanity hasn’t been kind to you. My life hasn’t always been a cake-walk, either, but I don’t presume everyone will be a jerk because of it. I try to start with a little faith and hope and trust, and it usually pays off. Just saying.
The drinks I’ve ordered have been fine but I haven’t gone back for months, because I just don’t like unpredictable service. I also don’t like feeling unwelcome. I suspect this is a hiring issue and comes down...
