I love the outcome of my nails but I could have gotten a fill-in and they decided that they were going to take it upon themselves to peel off my old set which I had just got two weeks prior and it wasn't lifting or anything it could have been filled but she said she prefers doing it from scratch they didn't tell me that they were going to charge me because I asked and she said no no I just want to do it to where it's going to look perfect for you and I said alright I showed her a picture of what I wanted but I wanted different obviously and I let her do her own artistic view on things it was very loud very cramped we made appointments and we even asked if we could be sat next to each other and she was at the first and I was at the 9th stand and when we walked in there were over 15 people in the building not including the workers which they were all nice and great my eyebrows came out beautifully my nails came out beautifully but for my let's just say $8 and I tip on everything so original price $8 I wax and a set of ombre nails with decal and I did not ask for all the rhinestones she said that she would just do it for me cuz I had already paid and tipped her which I thought I did but they just took my card and apparently it was someone else's price so I had to make sure that it wasn't swipe twice which they couldn't swipe it without my PIN number so I just paid $104 to get my nails done when I could have gotten a fill-in and some rhinestones that I could have put on my self 4 probably 30 they wanted $30 to do just the polish change on my toenails now the work is beautiful it speaks for itself I asked about lashes and they said 25 or 35 but I think they're like one day glue on lashes cuz she said they weren't lash extensions so I'm a little confused on what the hell she was trying to sell me their butt she gave me a personal number to come in next time which I don't know I'm just iffy but the nail tech does such a good job but she didn't make the pricing at the end of the day she's got someone hovering over her telling her what she's going to charge and then I specifically said you know tip my nail tech 15 on top of 204 that I paid so that's an extra 15 and then give 5 to who did my eyebrows because tipping when your server at one point in Life or you're about to marry one you know that tips are everything especially for people that aren't the owner and you can tell they're miserable but I seen her leg pocket my 20 and then take out a five and hand her five and I knew it was only 5 because she placed it down...
Read moreMy close friend and I stopped here to get a pedicure 2 days ago. We called ahead of time because she had a formal banquet to attend within 4 hours. They said they could see us as soon as we arrived we were 7 minutes away. Upon arrival all of the technicians were busy servicing other customers, they were clearly in the middle of the pedicure and acrylic nail process. The first issue, dishonesty. We waited 10 to 20 minutes before they got started on my friend. They they had me sit in the chair next to her with my feet soaking in hot blue water. The water was far too hot when we first put our feet in, her technician cooled it down for us. I waited an additional 15 minutes before the male technician came over to start my pedicure. He rushed through it then rudely fanned his hand at me saying pick a color. I didn't like any of the colors on the samples. They were also all gel color per the sample information . I don't use gel color to avoid the blue UV light usage on my skin and nails. He rudely requested me to pick a color, I gave in and picked a clear glitter polish without gel components. It rubbed off the tip of my toenail 40 minutes later. The calloused skin behind my toes due to wall Pilates was still there as well. My pedicure was finished 2 minutes after my friend, clearly rushed without tender care. I have never experienced pain the the moisturizer application. The bone at the joint of my big toe hurt as he "massaged" my feet. BTW my friends big toe was left uneven, she chipped it an hour before we had our pedicures. She also didn't like her technician using a used emory board on her feet. The technician opened a new one per her request. We also notice they never sanitize their tools only rinsed them in the blue water that our feet have previously soaked in. We will not go back. I have received better treatment and customer service intermittently Macomb Mall for more than 20 years. Next time we will go there and wait the hour to receive better service. Sadly, we were unable to tip due to not having cash and their posted policy of a tip only accepted without a card payment that includes a $2-$3 fee. Even though the service was neglectful we always tip...
Read moreI went into Yaya's on Friday 11/16/18 to have my lashes done, if you have ever been to this establishment you would agree they asked you what you are there for when you're walking in the door plus you sign in. Well after waiting an hour I finally get in the chair and Yaya states you should let Lana do your lashes, shes out sick but will be back on Monday (wth) 🙄 who does that to a customer??? . I Had an engagement that night amd wanted my lashes done then as I explained to her she says but shes better they might fall off if I do them...Again I'm thinking and saying to Yaya she's not here and I need them done, what part of that didn't she understand..I think probably had to pick up her son and she was pressed for time however she should have stated that!!! I was just in there 2 or 3 weeks prior to that and she did my Lashes not one time did she mention a Lena..I will never step foot in her shop again! One other thing when I was the last time the board of health came in there apparently she is providing services that she does not have a license for in the shop and at her home in Mt Clements...Don't take my work for it call the health department yourself but...
