So in my opinion this was one of the more frustrating escape rooms that I've been to in a while (and I've been to quite a few). Escape rooms are suppose to be fun, and if you get stuck on a clue for two long, the game master should notice and help you out, especially if you have a smaller group, I think there should be some concessions or a handicaps. Theres a clue button that they say you can press 3 times but you can actually press more, but if the game master knows you're stuck for two long, maybe just drop a hint or two along the way. So there were two big issues that I had when it came to the two rooms that I did. 1st, the game master almost never helps you unless he/she is prompted. I think I spent like a good 5 minutes tugging on a lock for a puzzle we already figured out the moment we solved it, and it was because it had a gimmick to pull up and down first and I didn't notice the label. I think once she saw that we had figured it out and put it in the right place, a nudge like hey you gotta push up on the lock first would have been nice. 2nd, there was a puzzle that relied on prior knowledge of something. There were only 2 of us but neither of us knew about anything related to sports, so it would have been impossible for us to get to the next area so we had to blow a clue super early. If there were a hint around the room that'd be another story but I can probably guarantee that there wasn't. I would advise that some things that might seem common knowledge might not be common knowledge to everyone and that everything should have somewhat of...

We had traveled over an hour and a half to our activity and didnāt want to turn around and drive disappointed girls back home. When I called, they said they were able to get us in within an hour, and recommended the Game On room. Paul was awesome, he must have heard in my voice that I was frazzled, his smiling voice told me āRelax, weāre going to take care of your afternoon from here out.ā
What a great time we had!!! This is the 3rd Escape room Iāve ever done, and by far my favorite. The puzzles and clues were challenging for our 6 girls (age11-16) and 3 adults. Challenging, but not frustrating! Some of them so clever and fun! We Escaped with only 31-seconds left and it was an EXCITING countdown in that last minute as we solved the final clue! But, one particular clue/answer combo was the Hit of the day for our Troop š. Of course, I canāt reveal the secrets here! Youāll just have to go to THINK IT OUT ESCAPE ROOMS yourself and see what had our Teens smiling and chattering with excitement the whole drive home. Thanks again Think It Out for rescuing our rainy day! We couldnāt have hoped for a better activity šš Troop41668, Milan Area Girl Scouts Girl Scouts...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had a small group of 3 people and wanted to try an escape room for the first time. Even with 3 people we did fairly well for our first try. I would suggest 6 but it is not necessary. We had just as much fun with a small group as with a larger group. I came back the next day with a larger group and tried another room. We all had a blast.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The owners are great people. This is not your run of the mill cookie cutter corporate owned escape room. The rooms are unique and creative. The puzzles are exciting and challenging for kids or adults.
Compared to other escape rooms, Think it out has great prices. $10 or more cheaper than other escape rooms. Not bad for a over an hour of real clean fun.
PRO TIP: show up early to solve the puzzles in the lobby. They will add 2 minutes to your time for every...
