Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Fraser

Ordered 2 steak and cheese subs, an order of mushrooms, 2 orders of onion petals, and 2 orders mozzarella stix. Was told it'd be ready in 10 minutes. I was there in 11. Walked in to get my order, the employee(long blondish hair- older woman) stopped sweeping, came to the register, sniffled and snorted a bit, rubbed her hand quite a bit on her nose, took my money and gave back my change( thank god i had gloves on, it was pretty gross). All i could think about was how unsanitary that was. I said " you guys wear gloves when you touch the food, right?" she replied in a snotty tone. "HAVENT YOU EVER EATEN HERE?" i said " its been a long time actually" she put on her plastic gloves ( i could tell she was bothered by what i asked, and it was in. No way shape or form in a rude manner) and packed my sides. I was out of my aura here. I didnt check the bag before before i left. Found out when i returned home they didnt include mushrooms. So i called the shop, and the (nose rubbing) ladyanswered. Asked her about my missing mushrooms, she became offended that i dare question her about them, and argued with me that i didnt order them, my husband overheard the phone call, and told me she was wrong. She mustve heard and didnt like that. She said "well you didnt pay for them" i said are you sure about that she said "yeah look at your reciept" i said " unfortunately i cant" she says "well why not" i reply " i dont have one because you didnt give me one. Arent you supposed to give reciepts to customers?" she rudely said " i have a reciept right here, you can come get it" WILL NEVER ORDER THERE AGAIN. WILL BE CONTACTING MANAGER.

Update: i called to speak to the manager she claims to b "the manager" so i asked when the owner would be in, she said not until monday.... That just confirms my stance..never going back there. If any of you choose to just beware. I feel this manager was unsanitary and very rude, i wish i wouldve asked for my money...

I love Tubby's chicken and cheddar sub that’s all I ever get there. I have been getting it for years. I have never went to this Tubby’s but I was going by it and decided to stop and get a sub.. I made a mistake for not asking if their ranch is homemade. It is not homemade and tastes disgusting! I have never in all my 49 years of life got fake (as in not homemade) bottled ranch at any Tubby’s I went to. I didn't ask if it was homemade as I figured it was part of their chicken and cheddar with ranch why would they screw up a signature sandwich with the fake bottled nasty disgusting ranch!? It ruined my entire sandwich the second I bit into it I knew it was fake!!! I ate just under half and threw the other half away… I then called and asked when did they start using fake ranch and they said they’ve been using it and that all the Tubby’s use it as they order from same place.. I said no ma’am not Tubby’s at 13/Harper or 21 gratiot or 11/ Campbell etc .. I told her thank you, I just wouldn’t be returning there no big deal… Then I called the 13 Harper store and lady said we absolutely have/ use homemade ranch but they allow each store to decide if you want to make it or buy it! Yuck!!!!! No ty only homemade ranch for me and they ruined their sandwich/ subs with that processed garbage! Plus it’s not cheap and I wasted half my sub!! They need to all stick to same thing and it’s not a Tubby’s sub with...

I ordered a take out ( I walked in and ordered tho). It's was a EPIC horrible experience!! After deciding to get a cupcake while waiting for my subs I decided on a cupcake. So I ordered it and the ( not the guy back there the gorl) took my cupcake and jammed it at the bottom of my bag of hot subs, the whole bag split open. So out loud I said woops. She tried to rearrange it. So before I walked out I unpacked the stuffed bag and as I figured cupcake was all melted and crushed ( ok this is a muffin for $5.50!!). I took it right back to the counter and showed the girl and she was actually irrated ( I was the only person in the place, I mean I could hear crickets, just saying it was quiet) so she's finally like you want one fm the back?? Duh !! I'm like yes please. It took her FOREVER to grab one fm the back. So now I'm worried like what are you doin to my cupcake ( I know your not baking a fresh one). I was already ready to go nx door to the dollar store to get a shopping bag for 2 subs and a cupcake...I mean you dnt know how to pack 2 subs and a cupcake!!...WHEW, I'll NEVER go back there EVER!!
